I was everything that they wanted
to break apart, a living existence
that they wanted to smash and leave
bleeding in the swirling seas.  They
knew me inside and out, the essence
of my true world that welcomed
tranquility and blossoming sensations,
starlit equations and exhilarating mazes.
But I could feel their stabbed flaming
domain shuddering my soul, shifting
it towards bottomless borders, fractured
frames, decapitated depths, as they stood
over me watching me slowly die in the
drunken distance.

Now, they have shattered my world and
slashed it with a whirling sledgehammer,
ragged and craggy, saggy and cracking,
smashing and bashing, brutal *******
blasting my thoughts and feelings inside
inner realms.  They wanted me to suffer
and feel the booming bazookas and
raging grenades, atomic bombs and
exploding flamethrowers.  Merciless
metaphors scream my name, pounding
inside my moments in time, smothering
my life and laughing in the horizon, as I
lay on the hardened ground writhing in pain,
dead beats scattered in the air.

I can’t stand all this silence
surrounding my existence,
the dimly lit shadows frozen
in air, disappearing out of sight,
out of unknown horizons towards
suffocating dungeons.  My words
are stained and dead, bleached
and shifting, dizzied and scarred,
a drowned sea lost in scrambled
mazes. I can feel the flaming
rockets soaring inside of me,
a scarlet knifed kingdom
smashing my soul repeatedly
on the skyline.

Today, I felt the pain whispering in
the shadows down inside my darkened
forest, tuneless beats and slashed singing
falling underneath sunken raindrops.
I could hear the blazed asteroids in the
distance, raged echoes and smoky screams,
a shivering death drifting into bruised
borders, as I embraced the backdrop
of cold crushed diction, colliding metaphors
and twirling twisters.

You are the portrait of unique and
flamboyant designs, thick beautiful
hair and great sea green eyes, serene
eyebrows and kissable lips, sleek
chin and a **** physique.  Your nighttime
poetry swims inside my soul again and
again, deep bold stars, flashing shimmers
of paradise and sensual rewinds.  You are
the one surrendering it all, your atoms an
invention of eternal purity, indestructible
and promising, a harmonic Hummingbird
hovering in my sight, singing such sweet
tunes of delight, your hands enveloping
various worlds within my vessel,
I never thought his love would soar inside
of me like a shooting arrow, and take me
across the immense mountains and California
scenery, the extravagant balconies and
incandescent beaches, our foreheads bent
to each other, feeling the touch of two
heartbeats making music.  We were
Bonnie and Clyde, a couple of teenagers
mad in love, traveling through major cities,
sightseeing, snapping unforgettable
pictures of our times together, the late night
movie watching at the theaters, our hands
intertwined, smiling every second, seeping
inside unchained galaxies.  We were the
land of long distances reached, the
glowing islands shining under the moonlight,
our shoulders tapping in harmony, as the
cool breeze fell upon us, breathing in
the oceanic waves and pure freedom
in the wonderful view.

You were the personification of everything
that I held inside my heart, the constellation
of trees standing gloriously in the horizon,
the late-night stars shining upon my heart,
pulling me away into your world of timeless
moments and sunny afternoons eating lunch
at a picnic, our mouths full of delicious seafood
and ice-cold tea.  I remember the days when
we used to slow dance around the fireplace
to Luther Vandross’s song, Here and Now,
sweet dynasty sounds shimmering in the
air, living our best lives and the years ahead
of us.  We were in love and nothing could
stand in the way of our sparkling passion.
Harmonies soared all around us and painted
the brilliant scenery a dazzling rainbow of
bright hues, a series of trumpets sounding
off in the supreme space, glitzy notes of
autumn attraction amplifying across the
town.  We were two love birds whistling
to each other in the skyline, bursting ballads
breezing in our path, mountain blue eyes
glowing like glaciers over meshed flesh.
We knew we’d always be and rise above
the oceans and clouds, inhaling it all,
from the very beginning when we knew
nothing about love, but could feel the
magical melodies surfacing between us,
to the present where we stand united
in a dimension of greatness, our bodies
an eternity of love rising beyond the
heavens.

I stood by your side by the dock
watching the great ships cruising
the seas, our silky black dreads
swaying in the breeze, our swimsuits
shimmering, emerald eyes in sync
with the landscape.

The rhythm of upbeat trees grooving
in the cityscape, beautiful blue jays
flying in the air, and we held onto
each other beneath the horizon,
shouldering the lovely emotions
captured in our souls, the smell of
our alluring fragrances meshed together.

We listened to the waves breathe over
us, soft sounds of amazing grace,
the sunset upon our bronze skin,
as we smiled at the vivid scenery
encompassing us.

You were my bright hope, a feathered
wing of radiant existences, a velvet
vowel draped in finery, glistening
as the moon that hangs in its
scintillating nation.

I enjoyed our moments in the arms
of each other, the avenues of affection
and depth, sharing a slice of cheesecake
and passionate kisses, chuckling as
our mouths touched, the night slowly
falling upon our starry flesh.

I did not wish to leave your side and
as we continued watching the waves float
in the distance, the gulls rising slowly
above water, their serene depiction
deepening within our dynasty, you
were my musical composition
illuminating my mind, an exhilarating
note of exciting chemistry.
