the world is burning
my mind is crying
my heart is yearning
and flowers dying

screaming fills
my broken mind
and hatred kills
leaves lovers blind

chaos swallows
heart and soul
broken parts
of once a whole

torn apart
seams undone
chaos is here
it's time to run

enveloped by
her ugly gape
no point to flee
there's no escape.

the moon, she blossoms in the dark of night,
where tranquil sands, her glowing bands, she lays
the waves caress her bodice, hold her tight,
as gulls and wishes rest upon the bay.

but who will hold the sea, who cradles moon?
he longs each day to gaze deep in her eyes
her light to glow eternal, fading soon,
exhausted, on the dunes of sand he lies

his love, vanquished by the dawn, heart torn
the moon will drift away, their love will test,
each day his heart will die, her loss is mourned,
till dusk, she comes around, her silver crest,

his tears fill galaxies, till dusk he grieves
his waves hold strong, her gentle light he weaves

She sings, her voice pained with tears which she cannot cry
For she is surrounded by death,
pain,
destruction,
despair.

She sings like a broken angel,
Who fell from heaven,
And broke her wings.

But her sweet, light-hearted song
makes the audience believe that she is
fine,
happy,
when she is broken
like a watch which cannot tick.

But when she sings, and nobody can see,
the pain that laces her voice,

And here she sings, so sweet and light,
But nobody can see the tears she cannot cry.

I am afloat in an ocean of tears
As the salt softly touches my skin
And the fish who swim below me
Do not know in which waters they swim.

The waves crash down onto the shore
Letting tears trickle into the sand
And the sadness starts pulling me under
And I scream as I reach for your hand

I am gasping for air in this ocean
But with each breath, air escapes
And the salt of the tears blind my eyes
And the watery world loses shape.

My lungs are crying for air,
And my heart is crying from pain,
And my body is crying from pressure,
I see ripples as it's started to rain.

But you watch for a boat as I drown
And you watch my last breath as it leaves
My body goes limp, but I cannot die,
For my heart has not yet been relieved.
Pure heartbreak wrote this poem, not me. Hope you guys like it!

playing a game
against myself
where i can't win or lose
i get to see
my closest friend
and my worst
enemy
for i am the downfall
of my kingdom,
the kingdom i made thrive
now i hope that i
will keep myself alive

the spring
what a sight
as the winter
takes flight

the birds are singing
but one does not
for the silent bluebird

has been shot.

climbing up
my clothes are ripped
the boom of thunder
but still the rain
couldn't stop the flames
the clouds are aflame
the sky is bleeding
the tree cracks
the branch has snapped
my arms release
i cannot scream
for nobody would hear
the sound
of a silent fire
