Bad day


It still remains;
Go away pain.
Impossible dream,
Which will never be.


I count the rings around my finger;
I haven’t even been born and yet it lingers.

In this grey world I am no use to you.

Life isn’t all bunny’s and sunbeams.
Sometimes at night ice cream.
Life isn’t what you thought it would be.
Connect the dots to see what you have lost.

Electronic super massive black hole,
Has a hold of my soul.


I need a muse, just like you,
Who is nothing like you; I want to be with you.
In the dead of night, fireflies take flight,
To wrap their arms around my being.
I am so used to being soulless,
So less than I ever could be at my best.


Regret nothing,
But every regret.
Take it deep inside, lest you forget, to catch your breath.
Slowly speak in tongues, come undone, detonate the sun.
For eternal darkness, let Heaven rain down on me.
We all need to be blessed.


Smoke machines are blowing bubbles,
Midichlorians,
Splash in puddles.
Rip the ghost from inside of me.

Are you happy today?  I hope that you are.
If you are not then I will wish upon a shooting star
And throw your three coins into the fountain.
I wish you good luck
And if you are all out of luck, then I will wish for you to be in.


If you are in need of love, then please have all of mine.
If you are worried about money,
Then I hope you can find a way to put your mind at ease.
I want you to be peaceful and happy
And if you have something you want to find,
Then I am crossing my fingers and hoping you do find all these things;
I hope you do become all that which you want to be.

Forget-me-not


I could not write your wrongs.
I cannot list your faults.
I only know that you are gone.
You never saw the future I pictured, I built.


Inside my mind a house exists,
A garden of roses, climbing ivy,
Hopeful sunflowers catch the sun.
There are dreams you can try to resist,
But in the end the only story that interests me is a true romance.
A true love story.  A story about love.


You will never know of my heart
And the crater you left as you crashed through my soul.
I could never truly say what I think you are,
Because words could not exist to help you love me.
I have no way to try; so I must let you go.


Your love is his and memories are all the reminders I have of you now.
Fantasies that could never be;
My fictional bliss.

Live 8


The Black Eyed Peas and a green, Green Day;
I want this day to last forever; thank Bob for giving us Live 8.
A day of great bands, playing all their best songs;
From Bono and McCartney, through to Snoop Doggy Dogg.
All over the world, great bands play great songs;
We all know the words, so come on sing along.


Some people are pants; some become great human beings.
One day of your life, dedicated to the revolution.
Television to the world, a united way of thinking;
We must all join in, to find a solution.


A whole day of music, for a world with one feeling;
To tell your fellow man, to keep on believing.
One day we will end this and make Africa one great nation;
Sir Bob showed us the way, now we must start the revolution.


Twenty four hours of music, is a gift to the world;
It will enlighten any mind, but you can't forget the cause.
You can't have a great day and forget the dying boys and girls;
Because one moment will affect you,

This incredible woman, would not have grown to become a woman;
We would have denied the world, of such a beautiful face.
I would have never, seen such a beautiful angelic image;
Now I see her as a vision.  Human being’s saving grace.

This Generation


We’re a generation of single mothers.

Generation X; a generation of sinners.

The jilted generation, rejected by society;

Look down upon, thought less of,

Underestimated…just as we wish to be.

So easy


The words must flow without delay.
A writer’s block must be kept at bay,
By constant thoughts and creative work.
When the page is blank, you must find the words.


If you lose your faith in the fact you have talent,
You cannot just give up on opportunity, you must grab it;
For now is your time to seize the day,
For tomorrow will always be too late.


If you procrastinate, you will do nothing.
If you try; what more could you possibly give?
You can only do your best and if you do find the right words,
Then in the end you will have succeeded.


With empty thoughts and a head without,
Just write something, anything and the good will out.
If you begin, then you will see,
That you can accomplish meaning.
