I loved you
I left
I dream
Of you
Your touch
Your love
Our togetherness
That was so close
I miss you
You stay with
My broken heart.
It is past, not fixed.
No regret,
Just memory
Of
You
& me.

Why do I feel this way?
It makes me sad
To think of us parting, separate
But that’s where we’re at.
Floating near two different islands.

A psychic once told me,
You were not my Prince of Cups,
Was he right?
I think so, but I try, I try
To make it right between us.
Though am I really trying? Should I need to?

Marriages gone past - where you simply put up
And only existed, can I do that?
The vows seem to mean little,
That’s so wrong isn’t it? God tell me.
God help me with this.

Too scared to talk about it,
The loneliness, the disconnect.
You feel it, you chase it away down that bottle.
It’s always there, one second it’s not important,
The next it worries me an awful lot.

Shall I continue, continue to ignore it?
Trust in God just doesn’t cut it,
Talk, talk it out, what can pull us back?
Scared, of spoiling lives. Fear and worry,
Please no, no more naval gazing.

Figure it out.

Serene Spirit
Pull me down
Pull me under

Bring it to me
Splendid fire

Harmonies hang
From strings to beats

Servant to your spectre
Of beats, blissed and comforting

To beautiful chords
That spring from above.

Timid heartbeats
Brought to the fore by haunting echoes.

Arms raised
Feet tapping

Pull me in
These realms of beats and blips.

Waiting in the tepid blue of a March morning.
The peace of a park punctuated by gentle gravel stepping by
and the soft sounds of accents, languages and chatters.
In the middle of London, ever creaking and crashing through.

This home, the palace of your graceful nature,
People gathering to catch a glimpse of your self.
Recollections of someone who we felt a part of.
How we miss your beauty and wish you were still around.

What will your dresses reveal?
Memories, moods, history.
Pearls of serenity, velvet cloth,
simplicity with purpose that grew in to a strength of being.

Being someone - a Princess but a person whose charm met serenity.
Compassion, emphatic love for all others.
Lady, we long for your spirit's semblance and rest on a hope that our lives can draw close, dreaming of a better world.

Looking back at those fleeting flames,
We were upon a second of lust.
I recall your warmth entangled with my whisp of reality,
Praying we could make it real.

And yet it's past, long past any memory of substance.
Though seconds of lust still trip me up,
Roadblock in my distorted memory.
The memory of your pure heart,
I believed was in my grasp.

Love you, love you still, my second of glorious love.
Hope you are still around,
in case I see you for a reminder of my heart's true content.

You're my second of lust,
The one who’s hidden away from my close reach.
Longing that you are always ok, hearing my breaths still sigh through the reaches of times to come.
Love you, miss you, my dark heart lover.

Closets of cloud
Beauty of grey, spills and floats
Over and through the sky’s infinite expanse.

Dreaming of beauty,
Perfection through imperfection.
The privilege to be here, drifting and floating
On your sweet, small planet.

Dying without impact.
Lost fragments that never took place,
But only inside, not created.
Changes and miracles closed down
before they were reached.

Looking beyond the gloom.
Lifting up and reaching for that pink and radiant glow.
It becomes magnificent, just as we all can be,
Step out, step out and live.

If you tell me, tell and indulge me
What would I do?
Fast heart would spring
Blind and rambling
All over, over to where you are.

If you tell me
Shockwaves or thwarted into paralysis, I do not know
But at least we'd know, know where we stood.

On top of that wind-furious outlook
Out over the miles of fragments of years.
If you tell me, if you tell me.
I'd come to you and wreck the good.

Come to you and any place that makes your home.
Come to you and surrender to the bliss.
Come and stumble in a fog of deep loss.
All for you, all for you, my darling,
if you tell me.
