How lovely a sight it is,
When sky blue the sky is then:
It gives beauty on clear days,
As sunshine highlights the glen.

Sky blue is soothing to eyes,
Even on a winter's day:
It adds beauty to the sky,
In a real delightful way.

When weather is really brisk,
And snow clouds are in the sky:
You'll find the kids bundled up,
Eyeing snowflakes passing by.

When the skies are of sky blue,
To them my eyes are drawn to.

In the air each snowflake drops.
Each flake is white and unique.
Coming down in a blizzard,
It then caps the mountain peak.

The snow looks very lovely.
Black ice, lovely, sure is not.
When there's a severe blizzard,
Snowflakes profuse are a lot.

When weather is bitter cold,
Comfort is not to be had,
When winter has frigid winds,
I won't be one who is glad.

I'll hibernate like a bear,
When the snow drops from the air.
Snowflakes like cherry petals,
Can flutter very gently,
Vividly waltzing in air,
Each flake with unique beauty.

Snowflakes when in their splendor,
Let the sun make its way through.
Kaleidoscopic beauty
Imparts flakes with royal hue.
As the blizzard’s white snowflakes
Landed on conifer trees,
No longer could green be seen;
The trees were then white beauties.

A lake by the conifers,
Due to bitter weather found,
Had its surface turned to ice,
The snowflakes, the ice had crowned.

Footprints led to a cabin,
Them, some hunters came to see.
They smelled smoke from wood burning,
As it spewed from the chimney.

The owner of the cabin,
Told the hunters when they knocked,
“I’d ask you to eat with me,
But on food I’m poorly stocked.”

“We can bring in meat to eat,”
They replied assuredly.
“Deer this year are plentiful,
We can feast on their bounty.”

They ate to their heart’s content.
For a while, there they did stay.
“For the road that leads us home,
Let’s start looking for today.
When raindrops turn to snowflakes,
They then float instead of drop.
When a blizzard starts to form,
Snowflakes just don't want to stop.

The weather took a cold dip,
Making the ponds and lakes freeze;
As snowflakes make their way down,
They make snow tufts on the trees.

Snowflakes land upon the ice.
The ice soon will not be seen;
As moonbeams make their debut,
They make the sight more serene.

When it's snowing on the dell,
Beauty found there sure is swell.
The river had been rising.
It is now close to flood stage.
There's  a need for sandbaggers.
Workers of most every age.

With the water pipes breaking,
With weather that's near zero,
The work will be bone chilling,
What people will want to go?

Some kids had a lucky hat.
Snowmen, they started to make.
Sandbagging was sure in need.
Sandbags would be no mistake.

Though snowmen could not throw bags,
Or they would be washed away.
They switched with those filling bags,
More men could throw bags that way.

Where the bags were being filled,
It was near twenty below,
And also a cold wind chill ,
And a blizzard spewing snow.

When they passed out free coffee,
Snowmen said that's very nice.
If we were to drink coffee,
We would soon be turned to ice.

With ease we'll take this weather.
Brave, you humans sure must be.
We're glad to be of some help.
How frozen you are we see.

Blessed Mother hear our pleas,
Close to Jesus help us grow;
Upon all of God's children,
Your love in our hearts, there sow.

Help us to be courageous,
So that we will do God's will;
Help us live virtuous lives,
So his peace in them will fill.

Mother of the Redeemer,
Help us live our lives like yours;
Show us your Motherly love,
So in each heart, there it pours.

Dearest Mother, help us see.
How we can be more like thee.

When we spend our time with God,
That's what God wants us to do.
When we obey his commands,
Close to him, we'll be drawn to.

God wants us to visit him,
Ad give him adoration,
He wants to give us great joy,
He wants for us elation.

That's found in a hardened heart,
When in the heart we let God in,
We will find the healing start.
