God wants us to surrender    
Our will, so his ours will be:    
God asks that we obey him,
And to strive to live holy.                      

God wants us to repent of  
All the sins that we have done:            
When temptations come our way,
From them he wants us to run.                                          

God wants to come in our hearts,
And he wants to set them free:
He wants to give us wisdom,
So what's best for us we'll see.

Thank you for sending Jesus,
Who is our forever friend:
Who wants us there in heaven,
Living with you without end.
