Hand in hand he leads me
down the hall to the bedroom,
     sweetness is found
as love opens in full bloom.

it’s in the way he touches
the way he runs his fingers*
               through
                       my
                           red
                               hair

it’s in the way he makes me feel
    cherished, loved, adored
       making me feel as though

                              i’m
                     floating
                  on
                      air…..

I wish to be lost in that moment
                   forever
      a connection so strong
        an embrace so tight
      to just love him always
       everyday every night.

to take long walks
             along the countryside
    down an old dirt road
into the forest, we’ll hide……

then back home
              down that short hallway
to the room that he made
                 for that coming day…..

it’s all in what he does
it’s in the way he touches

                  heart
                      body
                        mind
                           soul….

          *I wish to freeze time
to be lost in that moment…..
All the sufferings and  pain
Would one day come to an end

Life will not always be the same
Only  peace would prevail

No thoughts , no sounds in the Mind
Deep silence ..

Waiting for the day to Arise ......

Getting back to the ages where there was No Rush
And
All were at same Pace
No firsts and lasts

Contentment was  The Norm
And rush would be looked Down Upon

Can we ever get back to the time ????

Or was there ever such a Time and Era
where no one competed for The Race
But
All were at same Pace
And
Helping Each Other !!

Deep silence ....
Waiting for the day to Arise.....
Today we all gather to listen to the merits(?) of mining the Iron Range
Not for iron, but for copper and nickel and other precious metals.
Are these metals more precious than clean water?
Are these metals more precious than our pristine wilderness?
Are these metals a legacy of what is to become of our planet Earth?
We have taken the oil and turned it into plastic that cannot be broken down and turned back into nature.
We have burned the coal to perpetuate our desire for more and more comfort via air conditioning and heat.
We have polluted our atmosphere, melted our icebergs and glaciers
Destroyed our coral reefs
And now we want to risk the pure waters of our northern wilderness
Reaching out to Lake Superior, Hudson Bay, the Mighty Mississippi
And our entire planet.
Why not keep a tiny part of our planet clean so that our children can say-
Look, this is what we once had, this was Eden in our parents' time.
Mining
In love I long to find
our veins are intertwined.
Till her blood becomes mine
and every heart attack
is lessened by the fact
that we share
two hearts.
Like a mole
she has dug
into my soul,
Now she is in so deep
hidden in between
my synaptic gaps
and she comes out
in unconscious scenes
of fantastic dreams
when I am asleep.
It’s a mental picture
that I snap to capture
artistic rapture
and save it for later.
Until age and infirmity
finally finishes me
