Clive Blake
My heart was very battered,
It was also broken,
It had endured so, so, much,
Of which I haven’t spoken.

With your love and tenderness,
My heart pounds once again,
Our hearts now beat together,
And there they shall remain.

Now …
My heart has found its true love,
My heart has found its home,
My heart is yours forever,
My heart is yours alone.

Love has no religion
Nor does hate
But in every society
There is a rate

The superiority of faith
Over the many gods
All who reside in heaven
As we live between odds

If only our blood color
Reflected our skin
Then the religion we belong
Would be easy to pin

The devil in our heads
Plays the tune of hatred
And makes us believe
In other demeaning sacred

Fooling us to the extent
Where we **** each other
Regardless of who they are
Either it's the mother or father

A complete brainwashed
From the faith of love
While rotting in the prison
Then we hail our prayers above...

Hate no one, love everyone.
I have not criticized any religion in my poem. Neither do I condemn or degrade any beliefs. I wrote this piece "Love and Religion" just like any other poem I write. It is nothing to do with my personal belief. If my poem somehow gave you a negative insight, then I am truly sorry. Thanks!

If I was a volcano
Erupting melancholy
Would you stay
'til I calm down?

maybe it is easier to claim to
not believe in love and
to stray away from the topic of
not having been in love
just to hide the fact that i envy what they have
as being something i will never have
however i've been meaning to see the light at the end of the tunnel
but this tunnel is just way too dark and this light seems to be non-existent
especially when all you are is
blind(ly wanting to feel <title>)
it's just one of those nights you question all that you believe in

it's ok
some people hear songs
and they feel like they've already heard it
He said they all had the same melody,
The beat is a recurrence in all the songs

Every single one of them feel the same.
He said he's searching,
But he said he's done.
You see, he's stopped,
And he's settled for
a song that's at a faster pace
But still the same.

We are empty whiskey bottles
Apologizing for always helping the helpless
Damning the ******
Liquifying any motivation
To make things better
Pouring ourselves out
To soak in sorrows
Begging and wishing
Someone would pour us back
