there are still all these insects
so we know
we have life support

we have a lamp in a window
seen through the trees
sung to by all these insects of the night

Some preservation of life
is implied in the meaning
of living yourself

In a long strand, multiplying
competing and eating
in a kind of unconscious sharing

The rest of the world runs along your side
with sweet little feet, these tiny ones
descended from dragons,
splitered to bits by their own breath

In the end, the largest creatures give the most when they die,
but they seek to take forever,
they seek to keep taking,
but must, one day,
give back.

I am real
and constant
and confident.
I am a flood,
I am an exacting pressure.
I am alive
and alone
and I like it.

Look around you.

Everything of this Earth is real, everything that surrounds you.
The knees of the trees feed the needs of the bees.
Don't exceed what you're given and bound to.
Every mouth that is open will close.
The world will rest and wake.
But the atoms within us
Go on unfinished.

Look at the Earth all around you.
Be in the world that surrounds you.

whatever is true comes out in the right light

with each stroke, the hand effortlessly relinquishes its color*

There are some small insects, that graze the land
in search of other kinds of insects,
to hunt,
and ****,
and lay their eggs inside of.

These insects are like myself,
as I hold each life in my own hands,
for the future of my kind.

Some apes cruise the treetops,
to fight their own, and eat them whole,
to howl with their best.

There are those who eat the dead,
swarming in the waters, to consume
what is already gone.

In this world, nothing survives
that does not take, exactly what it can get.

In this world, nothing does not have a purpose,
that does not really live.

The bare weight of wind
kept us alive that black night
kids against the world

suited for space
we drove that rusty honda
and made faces at the passerbys

their lines intersecting
like moonbeams
across the endless stretch

Your angle suits you now
trajectory too
mechanically fit for fun

I'm the one
in apple red
dancing your garden to shreds

If you're my crisp tomorrow
then i am the moment

lay your hollow body

next to mine
cut by the moon

i am time
to float off soon

silver mists carry

so cut me here
above your frozen oceans

send me mudslid
into the rain

no bull rides today

A single light can yield endless shadows.
