I became destroyed

Drifted away from the world
Lost in my own disfunctional thoughts
Blind to those around

Things no longer make me happy
I tear myself apart
And hide in the dark
Afraid of anyone else adding on to the pain
That I bring upon my self.

I'm no longer involved
in the making of self destruction
I'm a mastermind
At destroying all happiness.

A huge family
Happier than ever
Nobody treated better than another
Mix of boys and girls
Not a day went by
When the house wasn't full of noise

Kids of all ages
Photo album no blank pages
Fridge was full
A smile on evert face
Not a moment dull

They all had a heart full of love
Welcomed home with a warm hug

Everyone had a talent
Two young girls with paint on a pallet
Some wanted a basketball profession
Others with a workout lesson

The kids grew older
The nights got colder
The happy start
Ended with a broken heart

A family broken into pieces
Just one mistake an everybody  leaves

A precious little girl doesn't know who to believe
All she knows
Is as soon as things get bad someone is bound to leave
A little heart cracked in the middle
Who knew a it could be so brittle

Now days it isn't about love
Only lust
Always carrying a glove
Yeah its a must
Its not about feeling a connection
Just faking affection
One one day
Another the next
Always changing what you say
No this ones the best
Better take a look at your actions
Before you get to relax in
You won't end up in a situation
Where your loves forced to be faken

She'll always be your second choice
So what does it matter if I'm first
You'll always go back to her
Even after you've said she's a *****
The day I got sent away
You ran to her
regardless if I was okay
You said it yourself
The two of you always talked
It didn't matter if you were mine or not
I hurt you I understand
But do you always have to run to her
Like all along it was planned

This isn't a fairy tale
Or something that's made to be
Its life
Snap back to reality
You only see what she wants you to see
A makeup covered face
Shorts way above the knee

One day you'll learn
Looks can be decieving
The girl with her head down heart torn
Might be worth seeing

I use to look at her with a frown
Until I found her life story written down

Everybody talked and everybody listened
Some how the truth always went missing
She was more than accused
Head to toe she was bruised
Tears on the inside
Lies on the out
Everyone talked about her
And made her doubt
The beauty she had
Made other girls mad
Only I saw how strong she could be
Til one day
She said this will be the death of me

Nobody would listen
Or pay her attention
A cold body on the floor
With a list of confessions
This was the first time
Her name didn't get mentioned

I wear my heart upon my sleeve
Let outsiders in
Knowing they'll soon leave

I never come across as broken
Though my words are hardly spoken
Most days I have a blank expression
Though my thoughts are full of aggression
I hold on to every remark
Tears crash down after dark

My body becomes numb
Everytime I feel done

Someday soon I will leave
Then most will be pleased
When I'm gone there will be no sorrow
They'll go on like nothing happened tomorrow.
