What if I told you that the bags under
your eyes from the stress
life has caused are as beautiful as
violets that stretch across the
vast lands ?

What if I told you that your eyes
light up my smile more than a
nebula or supernova could light
up a pitch black night, quicker
than the speed of light ?

What if I told you that you hold more
beauty in the tip of your finger than
most do in their entire bodies,
that most become fake, trying to
take your beauty and keep it for
themselves, try and compare to the
masterpiece God has created but
lose every time ?

What if I told you that the world
sings for you,
birds chirp for you,
trees rustle for you ?

What if I told you that children
pray to you, laugh to you in hopes that
their happiness reaches you and brings
you joy, cry to you in hopes that
their tears can be replaced by you
with smiles ?

What if I old you that you are necessary
for life,
that you are the air that I breathe,
the lungs that obtain air,
the heart that beats ?

What if I told you that you are an
exquisite painting, something that
Pablo Picasso or Vincent Van Gough
can't create, something the Mona Lisa
can't compare to ?

What if told you that Mother Nature
envies you, knowing that even
though she creates beauty and
mystery and wonder, she never thought
of a beautiful disaster like you ?

What if I told you that I would
never hurt you, that i would be
there to help build you a new
house with stronger foundation
when you get knocked down,
that I would replenish you time
after time again ?

What if I told you that I love you,
more than the stars love looking
down on the quiet city streets,
more than the sun loves to
wake up to find the moon
waiting for her, even if it's
just for a second, so she can rest
knowing the moon is okay;
more than I love myself ?

Then, would you believe me when
I say that my love would be an
eternal flame,
only to be extinguished by you ?
