When you tear down her walls
Would you break her fall
Or watch her bleed
On her knees
She's waited so long
To find her feet
And her season
of inner peace
The message is clear
She loves only you
And to thy self
You need to be true
She's waited so long
To find her feet
And you are the reason
She is complete.

Describing the world
as I understand it
perhaps as I wish it to be
Observing myself, the world
and the people who hold their own
among themselves, so intently
that I remember it
and can pass it on as if
the readers are getting a view
into them, into me, and into themselves
seeing how little it means
the work, the achievements, and even
less so the erudition of the show-offs
and the self-importance of the managers
and society

I try to find a reason to believe in eternal good
But when I'm forced to look around and witness gray men begging
It makes a bitter laugh escape that even one
optimist could.
The sunlight is choked here by a long shadows' vile twist
reflected on the sad streets by a building weeping ice
that falls like earth as meteors and cuts into
my wrist
And in this single mass that equals one but is many
I make the resolution that there is no peace on earth
the last sacred bit left on Valentines day; a time as good
as any
a time as good as any

If the world is an
outside world, then you must be --
a prisoner, right?

It can be everywhere
there is plenty to say about it
but It remains unclear
Yet we cannot be silent
seduced by the mystery
that we breathe
that spans around us
that is our heaven
that binds us
and has no name
even when we talk about it
and give It many names
And there is that other mystery
that drives our bodies
to new life, the other one
that we breathe
that fulfils us
that is our earth
that binds us
and has a name
even if we are silent about it
since its many names
fall short

Pastures, fields and neighbourhoods
along the long serpent -
the river that connects everything
the spine of the patches
hemmed on the other side
with piles of triangles -
bare ridges, scratched
with wide and empty roads
to each other
Mount Wind is rising above
and much, much higher still
a light line limits the tapestry of fields
Spring, and it's still snowing
above the little ant-people
How fast they live
Once as high, hovering
unassailable over everything
the white ice
Only then the ever blue sky
in which I let me fly, safe
beneath eternity

expect after the Big Bang --
but dissonances?

but according to the stars --
it would be fatal?

that I like, I never read --
anything that's new.

actually, I happen --

In the estates a baby cries.
In the streets a young man dies.
In the alleys they'll sell you drugs.
In the schools kids now use guns.
In the world there's so much need
Why won't the government intercede?

Attentively
humans have created
problems, throwing one after another
into the empty foreworld
They lacked norms, invented them
and were content with all the virtues
and vices to live from day to day
and also at night
They wanted to control everything
and created gods and leaders
with power, to be cruel
without strife in their hearts
The leaders organized it
with secret police and militia
with torture and contempt
and the people agreed to it
It became evening and morning
the morning of the fourth world
of the taboos and the dreams
of elusiveness and afterlife
Anyone and anything can be dangerous
be careful who and what you touch
also with roommates, neighbours, friends
dear colleagues and nice people
Better keep in touch virtually
just let the machines work together
because for us in the fifth world
it could be fatal

round the green sea, here and there --

Also worlds that we don't have
and have not even experienced
we can cherish, skaters
on the canals of the eleven cities
and those of Amsterdam
We know it from photos and
paintings, fashion from grandma's time
pharaohs, Indians and dinosaurs
the splendour of microorganisms
and the blue ice of glaciers
where cows now graze, the love
on the faces of strangers
which I look at again and again
or a drawing of a little trip
with the three of us on a bicycle
We save it all
somewhere inside us, in the world
which we built ourselves and
where we feel more at home
than wherever

They say it doesn't mean a thing
Because we are just mirrors
who kindly greet in return
But still, the baker knows my name
and the postman is happy
that I'm home
for the parcels
for the neighbours
'Happy New Year'
Looking forward, we keep heart
with good tidings, even though
they say it doesn't mean a thing
that in the rest of the year
calamities will smoke again
crimes and fear, what is normal
will get out of sight
even though you witness it every day
and that we will amuse ourselves again
with the ambulant judge to reinforce
peace with the right, and that is all
it means, they say

See through my eyes
Beyond ethnic ends
Concentrated empathy
Through camera lens
I see all humans as potential friends
I store my hope in poetical prose
Good dreams I’ve lived
In darkness of soul
After all
This is the only world I know!
