#wonderous
Words are so powerful, they can be forged into beautiful things. They can hold so much emotion, like anger, sadness, and joy. its wonderous that just a few symbols on a page can hold so much power. Words forge stories and poems. Quotes and riddles. So writers keep writing! Readers keep reading! Words are there to support you when needed, you can dive into a book and escape reality for a while, write a poem and get those emotions out or simply read. words can be sung in a song, written down by hand, or simply told by tounge. They can be kind and they can be mean. They can be quiet as a mouse, or as loud as the rolling of thunder. All around us in our day to day lives we see them, hear them, and read them. Whether on billboard signs, the side of trains, on our phones or computers, in books and even on the screen of a TV. They hold power. They can condemn someone, brighten someone's day, inspire someone and they can even cause populations of people to rise up to something.  Let the emotions in the words pour out around you. let them consume you. Let them comfort you. make someone's day better. Words are powerful. All we have to do is read them

Powerful Words
Like the arcane of the worlds You were mysterious and captivating Magic yearning to be explored, to be captured I stayed to study and observe all of your essence  Weaving signs and symbols that my eyes memorized Speaking ancient words of forgotten love That only my heart can understand The source of all of that is unknown and magical Created between us  Enchanting what was already enchanted Ensnaring what was already ensnared The art of invoking stars and wonders Existed long within your eyes That hexed me, held me You cast what you desired But you didn't know I was already yours You never needed the universe's secrets To achieve what we both wanted  Go ahead and perform the occult But you were too late The love was there inside Before you even touched a book You didn't need an ingredient or secrecy For this familiar that you summoned To be forever yours

Arcane Love
Sept. 5th, 2020, 6:35am (wondrous palette) the sun risen, but a solid foothold as of yet unestablished; the new day’s skies borrow coloration from nearby sources, no unique identity bright enough as of yet to call its own; thin cumulus streaks, striate against an unidentifiable blue paleness, more to contrast than to claim,  “here we are! the bay is in labor: multi hues of blue intermingle, as the light illuminates each part differentially; soon enough, one hue will come to dominate, just like you, soon enough, a single hue will dominate, and this day will be distinct, and who knows? perhaps even distinctive enough to be memorialized. minute to minute is the ever changing interplay; unlike a human, this rapidity maturation is unafraid to experiment with new combinations but-based on prior recalled self- examination; something on the water, a small boat low and close flat to the surficial; a skiff, a rowboat with no oars, drifting, languishing on the fishing spot, unmoving unhurried humans aboard, thinking, this is the good way to start living *last comment; tiny hinting shades of violet, pink and orange exist, hard to discern so well blended are they with the norm of broader blue and vanilla white and then all readily apparent! this is the new days message, we are what we appear to be, one earth, one sky, indivisible but born from* a wondrous palette; *and so yet another first poem of the day is created, a verbal prélude, étude, unique but a product of its many ancestral predecessors, just like*, we the people.

My Lord the Redeemer, Lord God my Deliverer. Reaching down from above, As graceful as a dove, Never ceasing with Your love. I owe it all to You, Because when I was sitting on that pew, You called me into life anew. You washed away my sins, Life You breathed within. On calvary hill, You were still, Lord You bowed to the Father's will. You died for my sins; Laid in a tomb, In which You did not stay, You rose again that glorious third day! In Heaven You are, Waiting for me, To bow my heart, and bend the knee. I worship You Lord, Because all that for love, The least I could do, Is praise Your name above.

I'm just listening to Counting Crows, and I get this feeling, That I am so close to understanding, Something, myself? Something. And it leads to this eerie feeling of contentedness, In the darkness. But I'm just a step behind, And the more I think, the more... I lose my way, The more I question, instead of listen. But it scares me to let such a moment pass, without pursuing... it. Whatever it is. Poetry? I think not, Just splutter along the road of my soul. Sure to be meaningless in the end, but, Looking at it now, looking back a bit... Oh to be **** half in the past, And nirvana just out there, A bit further along the way. Almost childly, I blindly, Reach my hand out and up, Hoping that I'll be able to grasp the Sun, As if I won't get burnt, That since it seems so close, I just need to grasp, and the world will be mine. But some things are not for mortals. And demons, like kids, Must too, one day, Wake up.

Listening
Into the night we danced with monsters, we danced with them till the morning light. As they flash their eyes something precious dies in my aging heart, that knows the limits of wondrous art. We danced like the flames we roared like the beasts. We jumped and we shouted hand and in hand those monsters and we. We exploded like stars blazing throughout the night. With monsters we danced, till morning light.
