Ambiguity
Seven Times
Maybe one and two
Or many verbal words
Scatter our grasp
For sense and meaning
A puzzle thrown
In the Air here and there.
Here these words
Are pieces unconnected
Even as the word, THE,
Can take us to "the" beach
Or to " the" room
What you bring can
And Might
Be your rescue. Maybe.
You are here.
In the dark or light
Where one can't be defined
Without the other
Just as the meaning of you
Lives never in just one place
But resolved
Simultaneously ambiguous
This is your beauty.

So close, yet so far
I could see your leaves,
Swinging from afar
So close, yet so far
I can't take you out of my mind.
For I am just a simple tree,
Knowing you'll never look at me.
I could see your leaves,
But I could never touch them,
For the million hands I have
Our branches would forever remain apart.
Swinging from afar
Your sprightly crown moving in slow-motion;
You make me full of emotions,
For you are my one and only star
Swinging from afar,
I could see your leaves,
So close, yet so far.

Numbers are real
Yet, untouchable.
The universe in my hand
Literally, unseeable.
My thoughts,
they’re real
But seemingly, unbelievable.
Your skin against mine,
Ha! improbable.
Longing for you,
The impossible.
I’m waiting for you,
That’s undeniable.
Your feelings?
That’s questionable.

I
Touched
Upon
You,
But
Never
Felt
With
In
You

I feel mostly like I'm just a skeleton
With worn out ribs and a cracked spine
Blood shot eyes lined by dark circles
Alabaster skin I'm constantly trying to shed
An alien within my own habitat
I know not where I'm going
Or when I shall ever get there
But I still carry on, slightly limping all the way,
The unforgotten memories of past failure still lingering
Reminding me I am merely bones and skin
Emotions and ambitions left behind long ago
Not immune to the disastrous ways of the universe
