#tinkering
Tinkering hands Lead to restless minds, Always seeking What they might find, In systems running Perfectly well, Please, act with caution, Results may repel. Leave alone what Smoothly flows; If working gears Continue to go, For in the quest To meddle away, We sometimes cause More disarray. Wisdom lies In knowing when To step aside, To leave again. For changes made Without true need Can plant dysfunctions Stubborn seed. If it works, Then let it be, Sometimes that's The wisest plea! Not all that’s old Needs to be renewed; Leave it alone To see itself through. ©️Lizzie Bevis

If it Ain't Broken, Don’t Fix it
_You ask of which I am most afeart, the rumbling tumblings of the troll beneath the bridge or the tinkering favours of an eccentric fairy godmother. Alas, it is the marzipan crumbs of inspiration leading me down the brambled garden path which most unsettle me; the ink that does not write; the unpainted page with not a gingerbread house...in sight._

Once Upon A Story
he has a penchant for tinkering with stuff if given half the chance he'd tinker with his navel fluff I've seen him tinkering with working order stuff that doesn't need any tinkering put upon its cuff some while back he decided to have a tinker with a room partition at the hall and as a result of his non essential tinkering down came the east facing wall tinkering is an occupation of the tampering ****** unnecessarily touching stuff with an interfering fiddle

Tinkering
Never Finished – Always On The Way How can anything Be ever finished? In its way nonsensical That nothing’s final; Always subject to revision, change. You-name-it: Habit concrete, thought abstract - Changed and changing; Going on, evolving, processed. Discontented and/or vexed: A sign that’s fixed: You’re moving on, non-judge- or sentiment-al. Flexibly, You willingly Go with it. (As they say, ‘the flow’). Your poems your art, your language too. Throughout your days, Through all your years - And losing fears you stay refreshed Because you know you ne’er diminish, Always sure you will replenish, be replenished. Squeamish never, Deeds and exploits never finished, Still you end this life light-hearted, Satisfied and fully furnished, That too, no doubt, never finished. Never Finished – Always On The Way 8.28.2016 Definitely Didactic; Birth, Death & In Between II; Arlene Corwin
