Do you hear that?

The sound of birds chirping in their nests
Of people crying and beating their chests

The sound of a mother cooing to her child
Of the teenagers going wild

The sound of a couple arguing with raised voices
Of the gamblers indulging in their vices

The sound of a heart beating with love
Of sweet nothings carried on the wings of a dove

The sound of forgiveness being granted
Of the razor blade of hurt being blunted
