#supermoon
Are you of perfect
Circumference for
A captain in the sky
Voyaging vagabond at night 'til morn'
Walking under the
End of season elms and sycamores
The branches as oars in water
Tilling below shadows come, shadows go, as you stay steady
For I was the water in a rippling stream and you were a solitary sturdy force above
Emulating my gait and gaze
Light hanging with every branch
Into my water
As you lay your supermoon
Beam into our futures
Until you come again
Leaving your soup of hope in Everything you touched
Even souls
Where will the future be at your return
With hate or love,
Or something in between as a sturdy captain should, be there once more for all the visitors below
Beseeching you for navigation
From on high to below
Altruistic by sight, your perfect shaped stone in the dark of night

we heard them talking
about a meteor shower
expected later that night
highly anticipated
set to accompany
the rust red supermoon
that we caught
following us home
lay down upon blankets
a meagre effort
to provide at least
a little comfort
while we witnessed
this astral magnificence
the significanceof which
none of us was certain
childishly imagining
a spectacle from
the dazzling of shooting stars
trailing tails like fireworks
pointing in wonder
appearing briefly
before burning out
instead
we found ourselves staring
up at one of those
countless spots of white
slowly
unenthusiastically
drifting across
the stratosphere
it could be a meteor
maybe just an aeroplane
or simply a twinkling
trick of the light
yet still we watched
without excitement
without direction
without relevance

And
The Moon
Is merely a moon
For a second
If you
Relate that
Then it's
Love
With that gaze

The moon was ready to write a poem for her
I was in her symphony
She was in my lyrics
We share our ideas together
Cause it makes us healthier
She burns my waste thoughts
I give her a new situation to shine

we finally look away
from our cell phones...

back to our
prolonged
eclipses...

***Moon O Moon!
Why are you red?
Is your mood bad?
Moon O Moon!
Why people call you?
That you go blue.
Moon O Moon!
Why are you miss?
Your sight is a bliss,,
Moon O Moon!
Why are you crescent?
And then absent.
Moon O Moon!
Why are you eclipsed?
A part is missed.
Moon O Moon!
Why are you super?
When I'm bigger.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh dear Earth!
Why do you blame?
It's all your game.
Oh dear Earth!
You cast your shadow,
And hide my glow.
Oh dear Earth!
You turn your face,
It's not my phase.
Oh dear Earth!
You behave psychic,
And I am called lunatic.
Oh dear Earth!
I am always same,
My shine is all your game.
Oh dear Earth!
Reflecting your color,
What is given, same I offer.
Oh dear Earth!
I don't have air.
I'm always fair.
Oh dear Earth!
Out of my love for you,
My phases caused by you.
Oh dear Earth!
My love is eternally for you,
Staying away yet eyeing for you.
Oh dear Earth!
What if you don't respond?
I will keep making your round.***
Blue moon, great moon, supermoon
Never wanna be hidden
Far across the sky I see you, I live you
I will quickly run to take you
To walk, to run, to enjoy the every moment with you
*I wondered how the moon
Was superbly beautiful.
Taking chances to climb up high
And more higher than usual reach,
Just to admire it more than ever.
I spoke with a girl of age 8,
Explaining her about the supermoon
She asked supermoon?
After understanding it
She said wait, wait.
Let's go to the terrace
And admire it together.*
There is always a story in thee,
Thy face is a beautiful tragedy
Thy ring of light that whispers mystery
Tonight thy enchantress, a perigee.
Crashing oceans, hypnotic slow motion.
Tides rolling onto shore.
She dances under the super moon,
Wild and timeless.
Connected to the universe,
She breathes in the stars, as the wind plays with her hair,
And my how she out shines the sky.
Standing on my balcony
I am gazing at the skies
The stars wink at me
But the bright moon fills my eyes
A mellifluous zephyr
Glides over my face
It brings a distant voice
That whispers you’re in a near by place
I wonder how the murky clouds
Try to shut off the cosmic lights
I want the southern winds to blow
And bring you back to sight
Cuz darling, tonight is the night
You fill my space before it’s late
The moon is the closest tonight
Since nineteen forty eight
i'm going to tell you a pathetic truth
i'm getting over you,
and i feel guilty for it
i feel guilty for acknowledging the sprouting feelings
for another man
who is nothing like you
and it feels so nice, i feel like i should be ashamed of it
i can feel myself changing,
like the phases of the moon
hiding the side of my face i called my good side
because it was the cheek you kissed
when we began and ended
i always thought i was lucky, you know
if i even got to feel this way once
and you were my once
and i had decided it was enough
and we ended
i had decided it was enough
the mere thought of experiencing this again
restarting
reintroducing
refalling
however many times it takes to get it right
twists my heart up
because i wanted to get it right the first time
and with you
and i'm starting to care less
and that feels wrong
which might make no sense
because this is probably good and supposed to happen
but i don't think i can take having something so good again
and not being sure i get to keep it this time
because what if it doesn't work out
and even scarier,
what if it does
Looking out across the many shades of dark on dark
The rolling ashen gray fog opens a window to the dawn
and I feel a loneliness, arising like the winter sun
… in the morning
The trees have bared their golden surrender
Breaking silence through the windswept boughs
below, gathered dewdrops blossom on the last winter rose
… a chilling epilogue
Beyond the waning hydrangea sundried sepia tones
Latent conflicts of the head and heart stir the hush of memories
imposing heart whispers, arising like sunlight shadows cast
… in the morning
There’s no one listening to the wind roar the incoming wintertide
An ascending sadness paints many hues that contrast dark and light
as the Pink Moon, steals away over lonely mountain headed south
… in the morning
every picture tells a story ― ☾ wild is the wind ☽
*As I lay there,
With eyes looking up in anticipation...
I waited.
And there it was.
A beauty. Smiling.
Alight.
But just for a glimpse.*
you're looking at the moon tonight
gazing in awe of its beauty,
its brightness and glory
in the midst of the cloudy night sky
in the midst of the darkness above
you looked at it very intently
for you'll never see it in that way
for years and for several decades
you're looking at the moon tonight
in the same way i looked at you everyday
Another great scenario of the universe
that comes over a hundred years;
once in a lifetime.
So wonderful and beautiful
delusions gone, reality reveals.
a bright glimpse of moonlight
a hidden beauty.
It is such a good thing, the universe
can wait for a thousand years.
The moon's a dying ember
This evening in late September
A ***** copper coin
Resting on her porcelain ****
A mosaic of Ancient Corinth
As the soldiers passed
In blood-red rags
And orange
O Moon, where are you now?
I feel like you left while things were getting so good
Emotions were visiting then passing through
Tears were falling off my cheeks into the cosmic ocean of emptiness
Dreams were appearing as if my heart made them living entities
The night breeze whisked with your radiance danced with the hairs on my legs
My sisters and I absorbed the breath of the galaxy under an open ring in the sky
You hid underneath the holey blankets of silky night clouds
Befuddled by your absence, a confusion arises of how to live in my own light, without your light.
I love you said the moon
love you as you are
I love you said the earth
love you for who you are
I adore you said the moon
You make my soul dance around
I adore you said the earth
You embrace me when the sun goes down
I want to kiss you said the moon
kiss your mountains, oceans too
I want to kiss you said the earth
kiss you nights kiss you days
want to kiss you in amaze
I heard the moon only now
Heard her cry her avow
I heard earth’s gentle whisper too
Behind a brow, a distant brow
It's forbidden, but it’s worth
Oh I love to see how the moon kisses the earth
They waited, and waited.
Then like a giant lantern,
The Moon inflated.
Casting light so divine
On two hearts, oh so blind
