#stopsign
Oh humble stop sign Solitary red, eight-sided angel divine How you stand guard of your paved palace Forever faithful, a task met without callous Oh humble stop sign, I wonder, is it not absurd? To be armed with nothing but a four letter word?

Ode To A Stop Sign
I think my life's been sitting at a stop sign for a while now engine running, foot on the brake, but no-one telling me when to go. There's no traffic, no danger, no reason to wait... and somehow I still don't move. Maybe I'm scared of what's past the corner, or maybe I just got used to stopping I forgot how it feels, to press the gas. Time keeps passing me not fast, not slow, just to remind me I'm the only thing standing still. People drive like nothing's wrong, like the road is simple, like decisions don't way a thousand pounds when you're the one holding them. I read that sign again STOP. like it's a command, not a moment. So I listen. I stay. I wait... even when the world has already moved on. –––xx10m
