#slither
I pour these words on paper
When everyone's at slumber
I dream when everyone's awake
Like a serpent dutiful for one's sake
I slither, I toil, I breathe, I devour
All it seems for a tiny glasshour
My antidote is mercy not love
A crow as white as a dove
Salvation will not reach me for an eons
My busy hands are as tired as a peon's
Darkness is light, when it is solemn
My chains will forever be broken

the snake—
alluring notions held in its eyes
tongue twitching with noxious desire
arrogance held in a sauntered slink
vile venom dousing budding souls
—lends itself to this nature

To peel off your soft skin, mold it
into armor, let the blood gush out
until it fills your cup, and you gulp it in
as medicine; to pluck out your silenced
tongue, watch it slither across blank
pages, as it paints them scarlet-sweet
like your heart; to **** the trauma, bury it
under words, but make it immortal
on the same paper.

You don’t walk but slither
You don’t talk but hiss
Your tongue only blithers
Coiled in bed with a monster so venomous
Your a real man eater
I, another mouse in the field
Running in the harvest of Demeter
While you strike, going for the ****

I hate how anxiety even affects my sleep, its black sickly tendrils slithering into my mind and wrapping around my dreams, one by one. Gripping tightly and ensnaring its prey as it twists its scaly body around my soft dreams, suffocating them with its serpentine embrace. A ****** mist permeates my mind as I awaken from my slumber; dead dreams are all I see now. A mental battlefield strewn with the cold corpses of my hopes and dreams. Anxiety came like a thief in the night and took nothing, but killed everything. Sorrow is quickly snuffed out and replaced with rage. Rage and a new kind of hunger. My esurient soul is now ravenous for vengeance. This corpeal soul shall wage war of the likes only seen in legends of ancient battles between deities and monsters of long lost myths. My demons have won this battle, but the war has just begun

Slither into the sea
Inhale
The top of a mountain
To swallow,
Sorrowful dusk
Butterfly floats
Heaven is shiny deep
I'd fly if I drown

Oh Honey,
You can't slither like a snake
Then act like you have a backbone
You can't burn the world down
And expect it to rise from the ash
If your cold heart finally thaws,
I hope you're crippled by the mess you've made
Because you can't clip a birds wings
And expect it to fly higher
Oh Honey,
You can't start a fire
Then expect not to be burned

somehow stupidity
slithers so slowly
showing ****
smiling so sweetly
sometimes
slapping-em senseless
strengthens
smiling snakes
