#simplejoys
You remind me of simple joys : Like the touch of a comfy blanket, Like soft murmurs of love, Like a walk in nature, Like a splash in a puddle, Like writing a poem; Like writing a poem about you.

Of simple joys
Even after tasting all cuisines from different time squares, Eating home food by your mom’s hand is what gives you satisfaction. Not getting full marks, But getting extra marks than expected is what gives you satisfaction. Showering love and caring siblings is cute, But teasing them and irritating them is what gives you satisfaction. Dad buying the things we wanted is okay, But buying them with our own hard-earned money is what gives you satisfaction. Seeing happiness on your dad’s face is nice, But you being the reason behind his pride and happiness is what immense satisfaction is.

A Gentle Reminder
A mind completely free Chose to sit with me Laid his head down on the floor Raised up a beckoning paw I scratched him on the head His belly as it spread A mind completely free Chose to sit with me

Fresh grass scent delights, Reminding us of simple joys, Nature's sweet perfume.

Cut Grass
For me, happiness lies in— a cozy quiet corner with coffee, a gentle breeze, sunflowers by the window, and a fictional book in hand. Lying under a dark sky full of stars, soft music playing, the calm essence of flowers in the terrace garden. A random train journey with comfortable people around, destination unknown, trusting it to become another beautiful memory. Sitting on a swing on the terrace, under passing clouds, watching the sun set after flirting with the sky and turning it all red. Walking barefoot on damp sand, waves chasing and touching gently— one hand holding my footwear, the other wrapped around someone I trust’s arm. A peaceful temple with no gossiping crowd, no forceful rituals, no rush— just quiet devotion, soft chants, and a corner to sit and admire God. Shopping freely— no salespersons around, no suggestions, no judgments on colors or sizes. Exercising or doing yoga together on the balcony or on soft garden grass.
