Like orange veins slashing throught the city streets The warm light leads to the heart of the city Looking for it But never finding it Until daylight comes And you can't see the stream Or where it leads I wish there was some hope in it But I can't find any

My mother collects things Like a leopard collects its spots, Like a moth gathers dust on its wings and a poet collects his thoughts.

My Mother Collects Things
A family is like a circle. The connection never ends, and even if at times it breaks, in time it always mends. A family is like the stars. Somehow they're always there. Families are those who help, who support and always care. A family is like a book. The ending's never clear, but through the pages of the book, their love is always near. A family is many things. With endless words that show who they are and what they do and how they teach you so you know. But don't be weary if it's broken or if through time it's been so worn. Families are like that - they're split up and always torn. But even if this happens, your family will always be. They help define just who you are and will be a part of you eternally.

A Family Is Like A Circle
Me without you is like a leafless fall, a snowless winter, and a flowerless spring. Me without you is like a colorless rainbow, a sunless day, and a starless night. Me without you is like the ocean without a wave, the beach without sand, and a flameless fire. Me without you is like a book without words, a man without a face, and a child with no name.

Life Without You
The trees are growing Like babies growing up to become adults Like flowers blossom on the fields Like plants growing fruit Like the soil become fertile when rain pours down on it after a drought Lastly, the sun shines on the earth to grow a diverse life

The Trees Are Growing
Waiting for the one, Single perfect moment when I, Finally, feel free. When I breathe and it, Feels like I am alive and, Everything is fine. When that moment comes, Appreciation will spread, Smiling happily.

Hics & Sobs
I once met a forestry ranger In the depths of a dimly lit wood She warned me to steer clear of danger And I told her I would if I could I then met a four-eyed doctor Who diagnosed me with unhealthy skin In the very short time that I talked to her She observed it was dangerously thin I next met a forensic detective Who examined the mud on my shoes And recommended a thicker protective To shield my poor soles from abuse I then met a foreign ambassador From a kingdom remote and removed Exotic but totally taciturn Her statements could not be disproved I later met a forlorn professor And assumed we might get along swimmingly Like a shipwreck I tried to impress her But her preference inclined to the simile I furthermore met a fortune teller On a poorly paved path to the beach She foresaw not a single best-seller Overburdened with figures of speech

Tales from the Meta Verse
You are more than your love. You are more than him. You can love him and not have him and still be at peace. Let your love flow and unfold before you, and let it go where it will. But you are more than that love. The universe longs to see your myriad of gifts and talents. Your voice like silk, your mind like thunder, and your body like the ocean, strong yet flexible, beautiful and evasive - no one can possess you, but they can delight in you. Delight in yourself first.

More Than Love
... At times I feel like a flower ... Once swaying in a field free ... Amongst a spectrum of colors ... Washing down into a streams valley ... Beneath the rays of light ... Tickled by the feet of life in flight ... Then plucked ... Placed into a glass ... By a window ... To wither

a little simile here, a splash of metaphor there, all carefully folded and mixed to form a delicious souffle. it goes into the oven at the perfect temperature. the souffle begins to rise, the sweet aroma engulfs the room. but the timer chimes early. they take the souffle out, and it sinks within itself, forming a deep, large canyon. but this souffle is different. they put it back in the oven. it bakes longer and longer until it finally rises again.

Like the waves
He draws a silhouette figure on paper with ink. He knows what she thinks. He is fixed by her, Like he just saw a woman for the first time. She can just lay there and her presence shines. He studies her body like the galaxy. His interest won the acknowledgement test. She won the academy. He slips it on her desk. And says to her "You are art."

All my emotions bottled up. Part of my soul has sunken in. Your voice vibrates on my skin. Bittersweet memories circulate like a washer on full spin. I line my feelings and pin my agonizing thoughts. Poured all my emotions, you stole all my tokens. So cheap. Drying all the wounds that cut so deep.

Like a passenger sitting on a bus Surrender your life to me, I'll guard it like a driver steering In the darkness, and After dropping you to the destination Will move on, happy with the FARE of Memories.

we bask in the glory of the sun and gaze at the beauty of the moon wondering what it would be like to be as beautiful as each component never gone, only "soon" little do we know that we resemble them both we rise we fall sometimes never knowing if we can even get back up at all but we always do just like the sun and moon we are never gone only "soon"

Younger wanting to be older Older wanting to be young Child wishing to be bigger Bigger wishing to be thinner Teen wanting a clearer face Clearer face wanting a better body People lamenting bad hair days Bad hair days replaced with no hair days. . . We diss what we have Wish for what we lack When what we have is gone Oh, what we'd give to have it back! Never Satisfied
The ache inside of me Groans like desert for rain like the waves for the shore Like stars for the rest of morning . And it sounds so beautiful So poetic So perfect An agonizing masterpiece . But it still aches

If you must tell a lie, do so well - Lies likely fall apart Often crumbling due to bumbling A speakers deadly demise My passion is the lonely lie Lone creates shine A lie must deliver cleverly Or all would align -

you are as pretty as a star, but unfortunately, just like that celestial body, you’re also a million miles away.
