#silverlining
it's the only aspect of me she cares of— and i used to find delusions in that— and so, of course, it causes pain. with every off tempo measure, wrong key played, and incorrect dynamic comes something thrown. at times it's a still-ticking metronome or the closest binder to her grasp, all of it comes in an instant. "again. play it again." and i will, until i get it right. but i don't hate piano. actually it may be the one thing keeping me here. i've come to realize, i hate my mom and i hate what she does "for me". but when i play, even if it's wrong and causes some new injury, i love playing. who cares if i get hurt when i can fly and the melody can carry me for a while.

what i hate saves me
Visions of a hero walking off into the sunset Fading into the horizon as credits roll on queue, And a name stays center-frame and shines through the vignette But what shines brighter is this moment here with you. I can't wait another second, here goes everything I got, With the Creator of heaven and the universe, I won't squander this one and only shot, Here goes everything I got and watch me come in first. It's an audience of one with a box of chocolate, Sweeter than that is when your lips meet mine, Though you brace for the ****** just don't forget Being here as I lay everything on the line. And I won't waste a minute, here goes everything I got, Exceeding expectations and surpassing each limit, As this passion courses my veins and runs hot, Here goes everything I got through the strong finish. Finishing my story was only a dream before you believed in me, Now that I have you here, there's nothing I can't achieve. Until the curtain moves, here goes everything I got, Even after we reach the final sheet and run out of silver lining, No matter how long this ensues, I give you everything I got While I see you fading into my horizon. Even after we reach the final sheet and run out of silver lining, I'll see you fading into the horizon.

Everything I Got
Pain comes with empathy. Grief comes with cruelty. Knowledge comes with apathy. The sun has nothing on me, nothing on me. It couldn't get me if it wanted to. Not that it wants to. I’m chasing a cloud that’s floating away. How do I catch up? How do I get back on the train on the rail? The stories tell of a future so bright, all I am is blinded. It’s all getting unwinded in front of me. In front of me.

Theres A Silver Lining If You Squint Hard Enough.
a clay coloured mug with the dregs of now-cold coffee swirling with bits accumulated dust and a fallen fly left on the side it needs to be washed but will be ignored time and again each time i pass by because of how it is stained; not by the rings lining it's inner surface from top to bottom with striations of brown but because of the lipstick smudge on its outer edge a sign of her presence of all the memories that a smear of red can conjure and a reminder that she will be home soon

I swear he’s an angel. His wings bring him down to Earth slowly. They spread out, reaching across the blue sky. His white feathers create the silver lining on the horizon.

Poe Kisses Acrostic
Everything seemed to be going against him Everything seemed grim Even the brightest of lights looked dim The burden on his mind had reached the brim But then he found a silver lining in this horror It resulted in the birth of a poet and author Now there was no time he considered a bad time. All it was was more content to write about and rhyme!

The Birth of a Poet
Her heart aches from the thorn of loneliness. She believes her only cure is the Silver Lining. So She searches for it in the hearts of men. Others see her search as strange and pointless, but that doesn't hinder her efforts. Year after year, she hunts and looks, to no avail. As the fear of emptiness slowly consumes her, she reminds herself of what her silver lining has to offer her. So she brushes off and continues her search.

The Silver Lining
Rolling thunder, closely followed by lightning. A storm is near, all normalcy goes out the window. The droplets make a soft pitter-patter on the Stark, midnight concrete. Inlaid with the tears: Of college students, Business professionals, Homeless wanderers. The salty droplets create a ripple effect in the water. A man driving We are always in a rush He hits the puddle who hits The little old lady Our destinations become blurred As the torrential downpour ensues. People, including me, COMPLAIN GRUMBLE No eye contact walking warily, wayward down the street. But sometimes, maybe, the clouds in a storm bring Peace, maybe Clarity, maybe Presence. It may be. Sometimes there’s a rainbow Look for that.

Raindrops tear on barren desert wasteland
An echoing dream, Realize sacred vision. Falling toward the Obscure sense simply Within. The surrounding color Silver, A lining will be revealed.

The Silver Lining
I've spilled your name and my feelings on fallen lashes and wishbones. I've read 1950s love letters and wondered if we would've had exchanged some had we lived that time. I've stayed up late in air-conditioned rooms; a ****** for midnight voice between your broken smiles. But boy, this isn't a confession of how enchanted I am of you. This is just me realizing that somehow, you can make a dismal world look a little less messed up; god, you're beautiful for it. This is just me realizing that I can stay with you for all the reasons they left you for. This is just me realizing that I can fall for you, so, so deep, if allow myself. and feel like I was falling to the clouds. Boy, this isn't love, but somehow, it's so much more. This is a saving grace wrapped in chipped nails and stories that make you feel more human. This is a silver lining. This is chance. This is light, This is hope for damaged people like us. This is us — surviving. This is us — living.

lifeline
Beneath the embrace of our hands, ran a silver lining; We walked along it, purposefully. A gloomy late afternoon, a half-lit street; We passed by dainty shops that seemed strangely uninteresting. The dying afterglow of a summer spent together in New York, summed up in a nervous kiss and a flurry of downward glances — you’re leaving.

You're Leaving
I again visited my garden of despair Watered with tears of woes and neglect And now that the pond of bliss is arid I once again asked myself What flowers can thrive on these barrens? Then I glanced at the blossoms of withered memories Scattered as wreckage from a landslide The bushes of harrowing pain I found Arranged in a line of endless thorny shrubs Decayed trees bearing the fruit of deceit Still cast a shadow of contorted lies I then trod as lightly and slowly as I could Then plucked a fruit from a rotten tree and got its seeds And with a chalky smile I hummed a quiet tune Even in the death of my garden I saw the promises of healing As I walked past the rusty trellises and tarnished fences I welcomed my sanguine memories of perfect and scented blooms Visions of sun-drenched leaves greeted my anguish with a sliver of silver lining It doesn’t matter if my garden left me with nothing What now matters most is here in my hands are seeds of hope

My Seeds of Hope
How can i find the silver lining when there's no cloud It's all rainbow and sunshine and we're singing out loud. Quickly i try to find a tunnel to walk, hoping to find the light at the end is it just so happens that my luck, found me a tunnel which never seems to end. Was i wrong to thought it was a chains of events in serendipity, Or to hope this happiness to last beyond the infinity? It's like starting fire in the rain, hoping to find a warm comfort, Instead what i got is pain, and the rain won't wash away the pain suffered. AS 03/19

Silver Linings
I have a chance to see you again, i have a chance to see my best friend, I have a chance to see the girl to whom my heart belongs, The girl to which my heart sings nothing but the finest songs, I have a chance to see her beautiful face, To be within range of her undying kindness and grace, Love for you is all i need, You were the greatest of God's creations indeed.

Silver Linings
Here it comes, here it comes my silver lining watch the lightning striking these waves come crashing down The fallen and the fearless are in the house Oh, oh here comes my silver lining. Eyeliner and painted nails mascara starts running when you sweat it out watch out now here it comes it's on the horizon here comes the sun and my silver lining The moon is glistening over the open ocean nothing goes to plan even when set in motion Money Burns, life's a mess, girls can play hard to get. Love is tough, the road is rough but we're taken on challenges as they come I'm coming up hard I'm coming up fast I gotta silver lining within my grasp Here it comes, here it comes my silver lining watch the lightning striking these waves come crashing down The fallen and the fearless are in the house Oh, oh here comes my silver lining. Eyeliner and painted nails mascara starts running when you sweat it out watch out now here it comes it's on the horizon here comes the sun and my silver lining ©2018 Written By Benji James

Silver Lining
My mind fills with nonsense crazy words, and worn out lines I'm working my subconscious trying too read, the signs Each path and road, misstep every footfall, an unknown aisle for all I've cried or wept love going, out of style In the world today horror to the right, and left nightmares, that are here to stay every heart and soul, bereft All hail the new year rising let heaven and angels sing is it all that **** surprising? hope, an unknown thing

It's gotta get better, right?
Glaciers withered within me, evaporating into clouds of despair. I collect within a dispersal of all that was cloudless, but now I'm slowly reseeding within a squall of sorrows,               withered emotions now on the cusp of what is darkening the skies of my fortitude. But they say every cloud has that glimmer of hope,                         a silver lining of reflection within. That discoloured allure faded before it began. And now all that I'm consumed by,               is shades of ashen contemplations. Static discharges of emotions collide in turbulent clashes, as words shatter pine trees of fortitudes, splintering hearts. Echoing from within,                          glancing the air in discord. Precipitation finally collapsing below. After every storm there is a moment clarity, where tears fell and emotions disfigured                                 another's calm ground. Remember that when the clouds are gone that the illumination of emotions will shine though, and once again there is calm.

Tempest Of Others Emotions
No matter how hard it hurts Promise me You'll never forget; There's always A little something to gain From pain. l.v.s

Gain
At the break of dawn, When tempests and tides subside; I will remain here. Bask in sunrise, awaiting; Elusive silver lining.

Silver Lining
A broken window will want repair And a broken arm must be treated with care But what happens to a broken heart? Do the shards come together and try to mend? Do they search helplessly for what could have been? Can anyone tell me how things will end, For my broken heart? Do the pieces separate, and freely roam? Do they long for love, or wish to be alone? Does anyone know how to make a home, For my broken heart? Will my eyes no longer twinkle and my mouth no longer smile? Will I forget how to love, or be tender and mild? Does anyone know what life will be while, I have this broken heart? Will its love flow out to the empty places in me? Will my whole body know what it is to be warm and sweet? Does anyone know the language or beat, Of my broken heart? Will all its pieces move as one? Will they dream of what could be, what is, and what was? Can anyone find a greater love, Than that of a broken heart? While some do not realize that a whole is but two halves And with a broken heart, they forget how to laugh So that is why I am proud to love and still have My beautiful broken heart
