My heart is broken, I don’t know what to do. An empty silence follows me, I feel alone, always. Something is missing, a piece I cannot find. Tears fall without reason, leaving me incomplete.

He sits on the edge of the bed; tears rolling, no reason. Not sad — _just leaking_. Hand across his face, _sniffs_, straightens his back. Deep breath — __Done!__ He moves on, like it never happened at all. “Never mind,” he says, “that’s just life.”

I ravage myself in hopes, but purity was all u needed. Crinkled bedsheets, White snow turned red and purple, Is this your kind of pretty? My love is such a wretched thing, To keep within and about. I spoon it to your lips, And yet you spit it out. I built a castle from scattered bones, Laced it with echoes of your name. Yet every wish turns out to be ash, And every ember dies the same.

Breath softly into the night. So I did And the world Fell Apart. Like the tears, As they fall from your eyes At night, I crumble. The light I hold in my hands: Burns, flickers, and fades. Breath Softly

Breath softly into the night. So I did And the world Fell Apart. Like the tears, As they fall from your eyes At night, I crumble. The light I hold in my hands: Burns, flickers, and fades. As do my feelings. The difference? Feelings stay Unlike the flowers They wither, But I, Burn, flicker, and fade Till I drown memorialized. And in the iris of your eyes, I burn flicker and fade As the world around me Falls Apart.
