Little star
When the world had no color, Life was dull and never bright. And now with everything a flutter, The world wakes up at night.

Black and White
She goes to her bedroom and gets down on her knees Because despite everyone saying that she is an angel She's not pleased She knows she can do better Love harder Shine brighter She's desperate to find someway to give as much as she receives Because she's drowning in forgiveness So she prays that God will hear her pleas To use her as his hands and his feet For love to pour through her like an unquenchable sea She prays every night, every morning, every day Hoping someone might tell her that they've found the way So she knows that she's fulfilled her purpose That her life was somehow worth it Because she spent it loving Instead of loitering around Lazy and selfish With happiness unfound

God Girl
the christmas lights glisten as your eyes once did. i want to be more vibrant and bright than the lights, but it appears that when you left- you stripped my world of color. now you're just a shade of grey that still consumes my thoughts. i know you don't care, but: I've figured out ways to color in the vibrancy and brightness of my life that fortunately for me doesn't involve YOU.

don't be afraid to shine bright(er).
Sunshine fades away, compared to her brightness I wouldn't find another like her, even if I traveled for light-years. She makes the stars seem so insignificant, Her beauty, so magnificent. All that she is, all that she will ever be, for years to come, and years to go. Her soul, glowing brighter then a million suns, Yet so tender, a heart mender. Seen so many, but she still shines the brightest, So near, yet shes the furthest. I must be persistent, In order to brake her resistance. Travel to the core of her love, Maybe I'll find my self in it, as I did before..
