Compilation of  bewildering bygones. And no; never have I given the present time's worth. Due payment when it transmutes into the past. And that is a tragedy, my tragedy..:)

Photographs of when..
I drive way too fast I listen to music so loud it hurts I drink to get drunk not to be social. I take the wrong turns And the road less traveled Because I want to. There are more interesting things along the way Dangerous or not I walk into the woods at night alone I carry a blade not a gun Our mortality is the very reason I do so you know something is watching You can feel it Sometimes it's good to be observed By the unknown It's that very feeling Right before you are going to lose something dear When you have to say goodbye And you know it's forever And have no choice When you gain something you never knew you were looking for Or already had When you do things that terrify you Because something inside you says you will regret it the rest of your life if you do not. The watcher is telling you...you are indeed alive, And you will be tomorrow. It's coming and you can't stop it. Your participation is encouraged but non-essential. Wake up

The Eye
“I’m sad.” “Why?” “She gets more likes on Instagram than I do.” “I’m happy.” “Why?” “I have a bed to sleep on.” “I’m sad.” “Why?” “My parents won’t buy me a car.” “I’m happy.” “Why?” “I have food today.”

Time and I like to race, And the both of us won’t give in. We wish to claim first place; We both deny what’s not a win. With my eye on the prize, I try to beat my nemesis. For it’s time I despise, It is a thief with arrogance. And for the longest time, My rival was in the craved lead. I now forbid his crime; I have stolen his spot, indeed. “How I do this?” you ask. Well, it is the most simple thing. Within each day I bask, And in each small moment, I sing. I don’t say “Next week I…” And I don’t mention what has past. I live for the day, though, attempting just to make it last. One day I will have won, And I will claim my spot: first place. I am who made time run, All because I slowed down my pace.

Myself and Time are in a Race.
It’s a dreary day, filled with dreary weather and dreary people. I walk to class with the same thoughts in my head The same pathways to go Routine I am sitting alone in the front corner, my same seat No one to my right, no one behind me I look out the window I see the same tall buildings and the grey whirling clouds ready for rain But then i see a vase of bright purple flowers It’s on the corner of a balcony for an apartment. They are reaching for the sky to receive the rain promised by these grey clouds that’s different

Break from Routine
Crossing those boundaries of yesterday, step into unknown. As today is your birthright, burn with fervour; consume and rise. Repetition is forbidden, etch out your story; time flies. Past is shrivelling rose, let go, so it may nourish its own. Enraptured, relish each moment like a French delicacy. Desire is destiny, fickle as change is constant. There's just Indecency of death, after which comes the stygian dearth. Embrace that permanence, and drain every day of all its worth. Man wasn't meant to be a slave of tomorrow, break free; you must!

we may feel like we have all the time in the world, or maybe that time moves too fast. but sometimes, i think we don't realize that tomorrow is not guaranteed. we may not realize what we have until it's gone... so seize the day. live your life to the fullest. because anything can happen in a day.

Resolve
Why aren't you smiling, while the whole world is smiling? In this lovely day why aren't you shining? Obstacles on your way but even fowls are crossing. Instead of smiling why are always cursing the world and her natural ways of judgment. Life is full of jubilance, why the resentment? Understand that life is the most wonderful element, Rich and nourishing, each day lived is a divine fulfilment. Why aren't you smiling when you should be rising? Why are you still going backwards, forward is where you should be heading, You should be smiling even when everything seems to be falling, Smile each day, life is awesome and worth living. *"Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero" Live today and worry not about tomorrow.*

Why Aren't You Smiling?
Stop counting the days, start making the days count, stop wishing your life away or regrets will mount. Remember life is for living, make the most of every day, embrace simply everything that life throws your way. Each day of life is so precious a gift so truly wonderful there is a certain onus on us to live our lives to the full. Yesterdays belong in the past tomorrows are always a day away Live every day like it’s your last; Because it will be one day.

Live Life
Right as he begins to drift off to sleep, kiss his forehead. Be his sunrise. Make him coffee in the morning, even if you do not want any. If he holds your hand, grasp his in return, with all of the love in your body. Feel his pulse; his heart, pumping blood through his veins, through his hands, through his fingers, which wrap around yours with passion and life. Let it consume you. This way, when all is said and done, he will remember your lips on his sleepy skin, and how he was protected at his most vulnerable...how his mind could rise peacefully with your help. He'll look at his open palm and wonder if yours is warm, and he can almost feel you intertwined with his lonely bones. It may sting in the moment, but you've created a fire within him that will never burn out, and all you can do is hope that the next set of bones interlocking with his will be well worth his time. You've given him standards. You've given him what every soul deserves. You've given him love. And what ache isn't worth love?

An Auspicious Altruism
"Carpe Diem!" Scream at the top of my lungs Making this my theme Letting it roll off the tongue Seize the day Make it my own No matter what they say Let my opinion be shown **** out the marrow Enjoy every minute Dodge all the arrows Put my whole heart in it Don't choke on the bone Don't lose my pure motives Keep my mind in the zone Be sure, not just sort of Take the bull by the horns Wake up in reality Or the mind will be scorned Go against the normality Yell back at the world I can make my stand Hurricane in a whirl Of what they have planned Do my own thing Swim against the tide Let my voice sing My opinion will not hide I will not conform It is overrated It may cause a storm But my opinion shall be stated.

The Stand
**Let's begin the journeyTo refreshing our soulsWith poetic words on paper We take the bull by the hornsTo achieve the dreams that our parents have not dreamed for us but our own Where we conquer each of our failures to wear the crown of our successes Hold on tight to your roller coaster Let not the ride of life terrify the potential that lies hidden inside When your soul screams to be kept alive Rewrite your story with a climatic twist Before the clock stops and your heart regrets Never achieving anything**

Today! Let not the day end..
Carpe Diem it means seize the day. Today, I'm asking her on a date. This may sound odd, who knows if I will still live tomorrow so I'm doing it today. If I won't find my own voice, no else will do it for me.

Carpe Diem
Running in circles round-and-round Impatiently waiting until the day you're found Why do we do this to ourselves? Pretending we're unboxed toys lining store shelves Waiting for the one that will open us up to add value to their life Until that day comes, we create and dwell on constant strife We need to let ourselves out of the box We must stop waiting to be invited to the others' flocks Arise from your prison, you won't regret this decision Already in Hell, how scary could it be outside of your cell? Seize the day, no soul can enjoy life in a truly lonesome way

Seize the Day
We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?" Answer: that you are here; that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?
