ON THIS THRESHOLD Now I hold a key to Solomon’s Seal It fits the Star of David too Rock climbed the Walls of Wisdom Cornerstones well placed towards a Throne of Love, ****** thorns my rope Courage dissolved into pebbles of joy As loneliness became Aloneness On this threshold my nails oxidised Into water atoms, fire ashed my carbon Womb aglow with vacancy, heart an Open page of becoming you will not Know unless you are ready for Grace Beckoning from fields of dandelions as Soccer fields shatter into pastures On this threshold you are observed by Luminous eyes which dissolve pigment Hair, feet, bones, marrow, brain cells Pleasure and pain like autumn leaves Make compost before pearls and rubies Body becomes only heart splintering Into the spacelessness before the hole Fingerless I stroke the burnished key Know how to insert it into my given space I see skylarks in a shimmering silence Silver serpents twirl around golden orbits The threshold disappear as I slide Into a nothingness of Light at Peace ©GhairoDanielsPoetry2014

Wish I have that raised brow. Let alone eying the moon on the highs but up to your eyes. Neither do you let me down. You touch down the abyss seal the bottom of the sea before my teardrop falls down!

Your Eyes
His touch was like sunlight on my skin the sweeping skim of kelp across marbled coat his webbed fingers tracking their rough edges through the sand. In the storm's howl he was calm the chaos of waves in my belly slowed an unearthly peace of tide-pool eyes that stilled the seventh stream.   The waves roll out and the waves roll in and out my love rolls with them. Seven tears shed at Spring tide for love of a man whose heart is sea bound, sealed.

I am not afraid of the dark. May be because there might be a supernatural power sealing me by its protection.

Seal
Today I stand beside you to honor those we love. The ones who made it home, the ones still fighting, and the ones called to guide us from above. Today, when they sing the national anthem, don't be surprised if you see me cry. It represents everything that makes me proud to be semper fi. Today, it doesn't matter where you come from. If you're here, you're American at the core. Today, we celebrate everything we're fighting for. Today, we'll visit our parents, daughters and sons And tell them their war is over "You can finally rest in peace. It's okay. Lay down your guns." Whether you're a soldier, seal or marine, thank you for shielding us from all the things you see that should never be seen.

Memorial day
"What's your birthstone?   I don't know, Oh, I know--it's rock." Black rocks baking in the sun dot this beach Like chocolate chips in the dough They call to us Come climb, Come hop on us Find treasures hidden behind and between All our dark shadows, Lying as still as stone A large rock shape, Oh, it's grayer and duller, and there's sand sprinkled on it, And it's moving! It's Living Rock, The monk seal napping from its morning meal. Yes- we watch others walk right by him caught in their words, Unaware of the living amongst the rocks, Living Rock doesn't care His belly is full Gray sleek shape massaged by the wind with feast in your belly, So mighty tired! You taste your sleep for days, Clouds cover the day's starlight you seek, Your body begs for light, and yet Nobody can wake you from your slumber Not even the high pitched voices of children playing nor the fishing lines in and out of the tide What of your dreams Oh Large Gray Rock Do you dream of the ocean tossing Fish  into your mouth? Or of the warm sun coming to bake your skin? The salt water dances up your nostrils, You lift your head in mild protest Then let it rest on your Ancient bed of coral and shell bones My feet love to dig into your bed No insomnia for you sea creatures, Maybe I should count monk seals Instead of sheep when I want to sleep, Your body clock measures time Not in days or hours But in meals, in hunts In fullness, in emptiness Your sleep is well earned My friend We can learn from you. You bask, dream, Then awaken renewed To taste your ocean again,

In the Wild - Haiku
The rain is tapping fast fast onto the glass yesterday is past and dreams don't ever last. I wake up nevertheless yet something feels so strange a warmth beside me rests and there - a sleeping face. I kiss its forehead lightly as to not break the seal laying my head again pretending it's all real. The rain, still tapping fast fast onto the glass yesterday is past alas, dreams will never last.

The back and forth pace behind the seal to individuality a blurred plastic vision of a mystery that could be joy or utter sadness that maddens or utter madness that saddens the very soul of the soul and the only spark that lives within this state of mind, now may remain or may not, on the other side - Kaya

To Put A Seal
From simple and humble beginnings we have all come a long way to where we find ourselves this moment now which means today. Throughout our journey in life we have all experienced a great deal but what lesson have we each learnt on which we can put our seal? ____________________

Quatrain #281 - From simple and humble beginnings....
There's a lens to my eye, There's a filter to my ear; There's a seal on my mouth, And a mask on my face. There's patience in my mind, But frost bites in my heart; It feels a little lonelier, And yet a little safer.

Now
Come in all you children and dance upon the sea. The coastline tides are dancing and gallivanting on the breeze. The elephant seals are floating in their carcasses, warm blood lakes thicken on the foam, dancing in the ripples the shivers of Leopard sharks party's throw. ***** slugs and combatants, early hours send cries through crustaceans of the spine, and glitter muscles entwined with porpoise to drink their brunches with new recipes of the brine. Fairy starling, aching heartache, shapes each coil of the coast, and tears apart the stardust of starfish sliding up the coast. Drinking from the salt licks that falling waters move, inside the bay the bluefins escape the hunters in their shoals. The itsy bitsy great white, crept into the beaches cove, but orca and dolphin chased him back into the deepest azures where the fur seals pup and milk.
