Scorreva in me come acqua di sorgente,
un cuore che non sapeva mentire,
che batteva al ritmo
di ciò che non si spegne.
Ti amai nel silenzio delle attese,
nel rumore dei giorni spezzati,
nelle notti in cui solo il cielo ascoltava.
Tu eri lontano, ma l’amore restava,
come eco di luce in una grotta nascosta.
Non si estingue ciò che nasce dal profondo,
non si cancella un battito
che ha conosciuto l’eterno.
E così ancora oggi sento
che quel cuore di sorgente
non ha mai smesso di amare,
e quell’amore permanente
ha scolpito la mia anima
con il tempo e oltre il tempo.

A Spring Heart, a Permanent Love
It flowed within me like a spring of clear water,
a heart that did not know how to lie,
that beat in rhythm
with what never fades.
I loved you in the silence of waiting,
in the noise of broken days,
in the nights when only the sky would listen.
You were far away, but love remained,
like an echo of light in a hidden cave.
What is born from the deep cannot be extinguished,
a heartbeat that has known eternity
cannot be erased.
And so even today I feel
that spring heart never stopped loving,
and that permanent love
carved my soul
with time and beyond time.
