I saw her first in shadows,
her silence speaking louder than I could.
She moved like she carried storms
tucked beneath ribs that refused to break.
The wind curled softer near her,
a whisper I strained to hear,
her hair wild as untamed fields,
her eyes holding secrets I wasn’t ready for.
Every step she took rewrote me,
pages of my heart rearranged entirely.
It wasn’t love
not yet
but something
ancient and longing lived between us.
She didn’t see me then.
But the wind did.
It told me her name.

I have a strange mind —
It only remembers things
that are too cold
and tragic
I have a strange mind —
It only remembers misery,
grief and torments
In my sleep
my mind only gives me
ceaseless nightmares
Sometimes my mind
would go on a quest
in search of a speck
of hope
only for it to get lost
Sometimes my mind
creates moments of bliss
but I can only see
void
or maybe
there's really nothing to see.
I have a strange mind
and I'm starting to wonder
maybe my mind
can only recall moments
that are real.

Nothing seems certain
Nothing sure, absolutely nothing in the present that is present in the present.
Still there is something that goes on in the mind with regards to an uncertain future.
It’s here at this point in time an individual recalls and remembers as it is always said by the rest of the world, "A bird in hand is better than two in the bush".

Nothing ascertained and still there is something in the present with regards to the future that can be done as this is what it seems in the present.
A right step taken at the right moment in time makes all the difference
