#recalled
Everything you know and all that you have learnt in the past,
one thing will always be there to remember, never forget the past.
Lessons learnt in the past need to be recalled, revised and remembered
No one knows,
no one can tell,
no one can predict,
when the need of the hour arises,
when it becomes necessary to recall and remember a thing from past.
True, absolutely true
A thing from past better remain in the past, but that also means never forget the past.
Always remember all that is important from the past,
never erase and forget everything about the past.
No one knows when a thing from past will come to rescue in the present.
When you learn new things
When you try all the time to remember something in a different way
Always remember one thing, everything belongs to the present
So no need to worry about the future.
It’s important to keep learning
Important to keep in mind that over a period of time the present will become a thing of past,
the future will then become present and everything will change simultaneously.
So whatever you have learnt and all that you know,
Better keep in mind and always remember
Nothing lasts forever.
Neither the past, nor the present and also in the future things will remain different
So even with all the changes that have taken place in the present as well as in the future, always remember, never stop learning new lessons.

Your friends readied the kids,
In the boys hostel mess.
The day happier than ever,
I felt proud of myself.
Then I took your hand,
And guided you inside.
You were totally unprepared,
But we had trained the kids.
The canteen was filled with us,
The volunteers and the kids.
The onlookers joined the chorus,
In the Happy Birthday words.
Do you remember what the kids sang?
Why won't you, Satyaa, why won't you?
You might remember me, oh dear,
You were my old flame, and I was for you.
I said, "Here you go, dear,
This surprise we prepared,
Just for you, oh, just for you."
And your eyes teemed with tears.
You looked at me in gratitude,
But I was truthful as I told you,
"Your girl friends surprised you,
I just brought the cake, dear."
"Sakshi suggested this surprise,
Your girl friends prepared the kids,
Enjoy your birthday, Satyaa, enjoy it,"
You were speechless, completely in love.

Where has my love gone
Into ***** storage boxes
perpendicular to the idiot box
hidden behind a soap box
a litter box for the nursing puppies of depravity
a window box of opportunity inviting madness in
twisting little cardboard limbs into origami weapons
screaming paper faces of pain
of loneliness inconsolable loneliness
tormented newsprint balloons of pain
falling effetely from pain spilling mouths
of kerosene and matches in the back room
Where has my love gone where has my love gone
Into ashes on the hillside of despair
or into some small wooden box of memory
where even my eyes cannot see
boxed in like a gift
with a bow

comes on shore, from heated airs,
over a far away ocean,
steals in with quiet hands,
no thunderous clapping,
gently lifts, shakes, the
woman’s long tresses,
making them an
even bigger
tangled messes
the irises standing proud ‘n tall,
with their quiet applause, mm
at the unfolding playlet observing,
verdant spectacular every coloration,
the sky spinning clouds,
the lapping waves keeping rhythm,
that everyone
hears differently,
and all the discordant
cacophonous agitations
blends harmoniously
and everybody smiles,
everyone grins,
all knowing that the
all~knowing just
sneezed

Oh hell yes I do, I drag them from the past
Plantings not followed through, rewriting them, at last
Morsels that I dropped or threw, no insights gleaned or gained
Lines in my mind, that grew, musings that remain
Don't judge the intent or reasons, it's never easy to explain
Changing with the seasons, something, I can't restrain
Yeah, I have been dredging up old words, and recycling my lines
Pouring over old accords, while paying higher fines

Empty he felt
Deep down his heart
He tried to fill it
But he always
Failed miserably.
And then came this girl
Or more accurately
A goddess
She came and smiled
And the boy's heart was
Very full and whole.
He was very happy
And oh yes
The word 'was'
Is actually true
He was happy.
As everyone expected
The girl left him
And he stood there
Wondering in his own
Continuous nightmares
Asking why
And how
Everything was wrong again?
