#rebirth
the bantering of rain
the insinuation it might snow
the mirage of moonglade
the mountain drink
the desert thirst
everything
resolves with flowers
a withered realm
a crestfallen kingdom
their copper queen withdrawing
from the bitter harvest
in the spirit of Persephone
everything
dissolves into flowers

Today I feel light and free
As my hair is caressed by the breeze
Bright, beautiful, magical
Today has promised and will fulfil
Today, I rise in glory
Like a Phoenix reborn from ashes
Beautifully clothed in red satin sashes
Glorious like Pegasus on Mount Olympus
Today I rise, I soar in splendour
As the day keeps unveiling all her grandeur
Let the chains of yesterday break away!
Today is here, I will not cling to yesterday!

Human life is like a book...
The middle being birth.
The end death.
And the middle
a souls adventure of expansion.
Human life is like a book.
A grand story
unwinding with feelings as words
and moments as footmarks.
Once concluded it’s bond
in spirits core memory
to take one then
to a new book-cover of spirit.
A new beginning of
chapters where a sequel begins
with a beginning, middle, and end.

I let the sun and the moon rebirth me
And woke up in a forest
Naked and alone
Walking,
through the pillars of trees holding up the star speckled ceiling,
I knew
It was gone
It was all gone
The world that once inhabited this planet had vanished and disappeared

and for once; she said:
"I can breathe.”
and darling; it was all because of you.

Meet me at the horizon
Where the sky meets the earth.
Two bodies burning with the sun,
One eternal love rebirth.

I arrive at this rebirth,
a long-awaited taxi pulling up
in a winter’s downpour.
I called this cab years ago,
at that first tiny self hatred
that started it all:
When I stepped on that caterpillar
outside Ms. Harris' class.
The cab arrives at a party.
Small mouths pry:
What do you do?
Heavy brows furrow at:
I forgave myself today.
Strangers ask me my name but
I don’t know what it is so
I dive into the pool
and suddenly everything
is muffled and at peace,
and I am discovering the joy
of my hands
outstretched in the water.
This must be *******
colors pulse
touches ******
bird songs are Vivaldi,
or maybe this is just
what it’s like
to clasp my hands
to hear the rain
to think one single mundane thought
without shame.
I hail another cab,
but this time my sins
are huddled in the back seat.
They gaze up at me
with familiar pleading eyes.
They caress my cheek
with skeleton fingers.
It’s time to go home
and watch the Price is Right
like we always do.
They are hurt
that I went anywhere
without them.
I stroke their oily hairs
and hold them
as we fall asleep.
But when I come to
they’ve faded away
and I awake
embracing myself.

i starve myself for this moment
gifting you my delicate sensibility emptying my body for you
bearing my scars wide open
let you touch my vulnerabilities
you swim through my body back and forth
cut my skin layer, after layer, after layer
no corner is unknown to your touch
your firm hands exploring my every parts
you grab me, lift me, toss me
taste my honesty and fears
fill my body from the tip of my hair to my toes
break the wall in me as you penetrate my soul
pull the innocence from between my legs like silk
conjure beauty in me
make the bitterness in me disapear
you break me, brick, by brick, by brick, by brick
pull my hair, tilt my head
drain every muscle in me
we break walls that leads to others, that leads to trap doors, that leads to infinities
the past and the future merge into one to meet us in our present
we breathe as one, form a unity
one body, one soul, one purpose
we connect, interlock, intertwine
we levitate to an infinity of desire
reach the line between reality and transcendance
the moon and the sun both witnessing the beauty we're creating
we ****** and create an explosion of billions and trillions of blooming flowers
piece by piece, you build me back up
bit by bit, we emerge from the magic we made
from caterpillar to a butterfly
We are born again!

Do you know what makes us great!?
Do you know the delphian feeling!?
I have walked on the sun and slept on the moon
Letting out my own flares
Creating my own current
We have been burnt and suffocated
Leaving ash in our wake
Multitude, overflowing; adrift, washing away
Do you know what makes us great!?
The ability the see the lights potential and make it shine seen through all the sky’s as a dying star
We are capable
Yet we long for more
Do you know the delphian feeling!?
Our ability to achieve and go beyond, encouraging greed, deception, betrayal
The Light!!
A two headed sword
Cementing history
Creating mystery
Certify Victory
The light beautiful and bright
Yet dark and mysterious.

What does it mean to me;
She asks as she looks into me.
My reponse, a tied tongue
As she kisses me and relaxes me.
My proverbial tongue does as it's asked
"It's all about perception you see,
And what context it's been used in.
It can mean the endless cycle that is Saṃsāra,
In where karma is responsible.
But rebirth in my eyes
Means something closer to home,
Rebirth isn't about physicaly dieing
It's about letting the old you die
So that a greater, better you is born,
Like in religion when you are born again
You didn't physicaly die but rather
You opened a new set of eyes
And that is what rebirth means to me,
When you let go all of that which holds you back
And the person who held onto all that dies;
You are set free as you are given new life and new eyes that aren't blinded by past actions and experiences."

she walked
foot on each crack in the sidewalk
the heel of her boot
sinking
and then her skin peels away
turpentine wiping away
the painting that is her mask
and she walked
she crumbled
her bones dust
come back
you've gone too far, little girl
the wind blows her away
the sun cremates her memory
and she is born again in the rain
sprouting from between
the cracks in the sidewalk
and she walked

Passion in the soul roars to fight out.
Thoughts disastrous and its a black out.
Played by the rules to be a part
Waste, the energy 'n drained, the heart
Fingers rise to isolate
and demons gather to desolate
My land is left high and dry
with not a human left to cry
The marooned soul is free to fly,
abandon the world and climb the high
Revive now, to a raw life
uninhibited and ready for a strife
Nothing to lean on, its a rebirth
and gather the dreams, buried under the earth

We die momentarily
When dear ones depart us
But we are reborn
with their energies
transferred to us
and may be
they live in us,
through us
Provided
we are worthy
of being the carrier of
"their" lives..
for what
they stood
in their lives,
the values they fought for
the virtues which they cultivated ...

A treasure is found in the sunrise
When my eyes open up to you
For the fiery sun in its brilliance
Shall be my golden jewel
And its beauty shall remind me always
Of how rich I am my Sweet Lord
When your love is such a part of me
That so daily I need you more
And even if many know you
I feel no one knows you better than me
What you bring so daily to each of our lives
With your love, your strength and integrity
For even if my flesh was to deny you
My spirit and soul will always be yours
And they shall always possess deep within
The sweet treasure you laid in store
Until the day of my real birth finally comes
When my spirit leaves this body and the battle is won.

There is nothing like
A crisp morning
To remind you
That even after
The darkest night,
There is rebirth.

Today......in some places, heavy rains and
gusty winds rule, no way to control them
today, here where i am....sun beams with
fire.........hands keep fanning the hot spell
away, i think of ice...of snow falling from
heaven....touching the skin with coldness
that freezes the sadness in our heads...we
slowly become aware.........silently, gently
it fills spaces...seeming weightless.......yet
it soothes feelings....every drop, a comfort
we ponder more, as it amasses....painting
hills, mountains, with immaculate white
all over.....as if choking, but never slaying
cleansing........healing.......even the human
heart and mind, from bad energy......from
stubborn dirt......from being broken.....the
sparkle of white and the refreshing cold
bring clarity to one's darkened thoughts
a respite....a shedding of old, broken skin
much like new existence..............a rebirth.

*ancient tenets
turned to dust
gently blown away
by whispered gusts
of love’s rebirth
the rose bush
has lost its thorns
with growth anew
the blossoms form
a new earth

I’m everything and nothing
For where do I belong
Everywhere and nowhere
Life feels like death
To me, and it seems
Death feels like life
If only I could disappear
Gone from this earth
And slowly reappear, in hopes of a rebirth
To free myself from this pain
In a world of no disdain
With pleasure and infinite gain
This fickle life of endless monotony
I yearn to be free from;
To be in a world of transient diversity.
This skin that I love and hate,
In its real and abstract fate
Was once brown, now black to date.
It seems the winners are losing
In a backwards upside down world
Where the losers are winning.
If I could turn back the hands of time,
I’d go back to the year zeros
In hopes of a restart and some new heroes.
To take everything from the every ones;
Some Robin Hood type ****
And give something to the no ones.

At spawn of first light
Darkness embarks into the recesses of hibernation
And so begins the blinding incline,
the inevitable blonde coiled wreaths frustration is on the rise
forces a discharge so multiple and emanate,
the skyward black shrinks back
from panoptic reaches,
into a delinquent weakened rumor
When this daily task of ridding the black ends a victor
The climb continues upward in a high sky setting
Consequential over the mornings painstaking labors
Wiping from his brow,
in a waving motion
To release mists over global hydration
By welcoming this morning dew,
the earth is one more day new
and can take great relief in this rebirth
Assuring all parched famine will gain resolve
taking in their absolve

I've never felt so tranquil
In my very own skin;
I would shed it
And grow another
Just to feel this way again.

Give us burn-outs, bars, and battered schools,
Streets of litter, needles, walls,
Smoke and smog and drugs and drab,
****** and heartbreak, liquor, ****
Fury, fuck-ups, fear and fights,
Cut down trees, and sleepless nights;
Polluted rivers, dead-end jobs,
Tell us that there is no god.
Then wake up each and every morning,
Embrace and kindle global warming;
Watch as wars and famine strive,
And watch your poems come alive.
For that is what we writers need.
