#ratitos
Last year was one of a kind, The first where los ratitos, Didn't pack up and go on, To explore the world's wonders. I realize it sounds foolish, But I used to love those trips, Our sweet little escapades, Moments of bliss in the clouds. We would let the skies guide us, Flowing away like tiny birds, Leaving two sets of tiny paws, On the trails we rushed on. I would act silly, mess with you, To be greeted with your happy chirps. You would spot a cute flower, A funny shroom, a sweet bunny, Your glowing gaze would lock in mine, Magical, privileged seconds, And we would hurry up, run, Like excited kids at heart. Your beautiful racing mind Displaying its artistic crafts, Painting delightful canvases, For our sweet gallery of art. Simple moments of life, Shaped mythically by my muse, Time would stop, nature stood still, And life would feel peaceful, For tender seconds. I know it's not one of a kind, This year won't be unique, Mi corazoncito feels heavy, Los ratitos seem to have dropped, The mystical and rewarding take, Of being tiny explorers of space. Mis ojitos will keep scanning, Wandering the skies for yours, Knowing our connection, Will always be, Only a tiny cloud, Away.
