My country tis of thee
Land changed hatred free
Violence for the judged
Silence for the observer
Evil never budges
It changed kindness to brambles
Left my flag in shambles
We could pick up the pieces..
This is an american begging his populace to put an end to this..
We exist as broken as the lives that were stolen..
Too many are dead
We pray in our rooms
No cure no med
Tears upon the pillows of our beds
Ignorance
Arrogance
You've no heart to know
So apart we grow
My country tis of thee..
We are dying in this melting ***
Such horrid heat, lost in thoughts
My country tis of thee..
We grow as we fade
I am not the only me
You stole yourself now we cannot be free
I beg you
Wake up
Hatred shut up
America grow up
This is not what veterans fought for..
Shame on you
Love a blue hue
Task of a saint
Heart of blue paint
People have tried but hearts have turned faint..

the time when we were most happy, our glory days
with the people surrounding me
there was something…
like we didn’t want this moment to end
and wished that this happiness will never end
it was one of those days

Come morning
their innocent eyes would ask
the most difficult of questions.
My heart would stall.
My tongue would stiffen.
And my eyes would answer back
with tears.

Are you okay?
No not really but I have to sound perfect around you so I guess I'm okay
Why do you keep asking me if you look okay?
Because I don't believe you
Why do you keep fiddling with your hair?
Because it looks terrible and maybe if I keep messing with it, it might look alright
You're fine with us being just friends, right?
No. Not at all. If I value you enough to stay friends with you it means I really want you back.
Why do you keep leaving me?
Because that way you won't leave me first
