#prolonged
Withering by the prolonged waiting for someone is strangulation of euphoric flavor. © Spriha Kant

Produce to consume and light your fire. Persist through a mix of focused work. Permanency provides false hopes. Passion comes from prolonged desire. Recognise your present form, for we are forever changing, born again through death. As emotions whisp away and our memories fade. Life creates new ways. Aim to be observant of the unknowable, touching what cannot be felt, offer kindness to those in and out of sight. As our mind's eye flies. The universe is alive and we will again become well.

When people tell me That I'm strong I'm beautiful I'm amazing... I don't feel anything. Tell me these things When I cry about the pain That has lasted me years, When I'm up at night Even when I'm lacking sleep, And When I'm expected to smile My whole life when I don't feel your warmth. This ice palace I reside in, Is it my lifeline? Because if it is Wouldn't it be better if It melted? All these moments Have become entangled And the momentary lapses Irregular, My world all Grey And I just can't do this. But my calls are stuck In my throat. I'm frozen. I'm not resilient. It's taking me so long So long To stand up. And my heart is giving up It's beat Fading.

I'm not strong
Middle-school adulthood Picking on people is cool. Nothing important is going on That has anything to do with school. Glasses make people four-eyed Not being thin means they’re fat. Stutters and stammers are funny And being snotty is where it’s at. Ding **** bell, being rich is swell Don’t  be wimpy, not a smidge Tree-hugging liberals can go to hell. Revel in your white privilege. You want to vote for a Democrat? Have you lost your silly head? Just check all the GOP boxes With Daddy’s choice instead. Now you’re all grow up today And have a lot of political power Which grows and grows  stronger Each hour by Republican hour. So don’t weaken now, baby Do what you know is right. Stick to your supremacist guns. Because you know white makes might. So use your sarcasm as a tool Secretly whisper against the weak. And those weak-kneed pacifists, Those flag burning, long haired creeps; Ignore them all; give their nose a tweak. Just like the women you dated and married They need to follow your lead in life. After all, they don’t count the same as you. The important thing is they’re just a wife. Ding **** bell, power is swell You never suffer, not a smidge Don’t worry if you can’t spell. Revel in your white privilege. Never vote for a Democrat, Don’t be that kind of stupid head. Just check every the GOP boxes Faithfully keep your state red.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ADULTHOOD
I was born a step out of time One verse short of a line One word short of a rhyme With this world I do not jive A worker bee without a hive And all I hear is lie upon lie I'm not sure exactly where I belong I hope my life will not be prolonged Untill that day I'll just keep singing my sorrowful song I won't need to rehearse In human kind I've seen the worst And my life seems to be cursed
