#pretension
Solving by a flame, I must be so happy When born into the world. Burning on from millennia, Passion breathes all birth And end And everything in-between. Welded by the inferno, My face molds to a mask: Chalk-white as paper skin, Flakey strips for lips— My expression alarms. Into light, I have projected death Into shallow screens With verbose screams. Emerges towers of babel, False prophets come as i. From the pit to the crucifix, My corpus, my words, Spreads so thin As a caricature of God. I am heresy, I am the gnostic, I am conviction For and against truth. I am stripped conviction Of inanity and insanity Behind and between Intemperate intellectualism. Held up to heaven, My head is afoot and upturned in disorder. I have seen, In violent retribution, The vehement falsehoods of it all. I fall to turn To watchers— Those who churn My melted body To the callous grounds. In perfervid ********** Burdens strap to backs And i hold this as novelty. From its forever conflicts— Agon of life and fore, Bodies are torrid And these ravishments break. I drown in flaring flagrance, It bleeds me dry— These torrid bones of mine. These final gasps For air to dust, I die to an untrue hand. By a crooked hand, My voice is seized From an inflamed throat. I lie, Ardent, Ad a martyr— My life and death Has been pretension.

Maskara
Before the beginning, Man said, "This is a world to conquer." Hence, Man released his word and it was a resounding, "I will." A bright shining beacon separated the darkness. This was how it began. The next day, Man separated high-minded thoughts from base desires and called one educated and planned, the other, trivial and crass, and made one above the other in ranks. Morning and evening passed. On the third day, the desires were gathered and separated into virtues and vices. Each had seeds abundant with the reapings of their own rewards and consequences. All was good but the darkness and light were stark. So on the fourth day Man said, "I will give the darkness flecks of light and the light covers of darkness so that everything will have shadows and shades to cover themselves upon." And Man saw all was as he pleased. Then Man pronounced, "I will fill the virtues and vices with every sort of thing to feed on according to their kind. They shall be fruitful and multiply and they shall swarm and crawl and fly according to their own kind. They shall become beasts and livestock which plot and prey on each other according to their own kind." And so it was on the fifth day. When Man saw how everything was as he made it to be, Man said, "I shall make a god in my own image, he will be as I proclaim and be the bearer of my creation. He will be for me a cause to have dominion over all." And so on the sixth day, Man created a god in his own image to subdue everything. He said to him, "Now, you will grant me permission to do as I have always done and in your name, claim glory." On the seventh day, Man saw all was absolved and done according to his will. Man rested and let the name of god carry the load.

He blindly pretends it is bliss living in his favorite dream, and try to believe there are no consequences as dream has no limits. But who knocks on the door in this hour? reality seems to be in her limits of patience.

Reality check
Whimsical strings of particular words; Cut and pasted into delicate furnishings. A cadence, Rhythm, Feeling. Weaved together into metaphorical meanings And deeper understandings of not only oneself But the collective mind of humankind As if great discoveries are made with every letter. The barely comprehensible wisdom resonates, Echoing off walls and through empty minds As if carrying more of a meaning Than a gentle breeze Entertaining a slip of paper Through its nimble fingers. It’s hollow bones would crumble under the slightest press.

Hollow Bones
So complicated So difficult There should be no mistake There should be no fault So disgusting So stressful I should always smile I should look beautiful Life should look perfect Though it is like a mess Under the bright spotlight Everyone makes a guess Look at me in the eye I am a celebrity Only beautiful things You can see them from me I smile and laugh I never look dry Under the bright spotlight I should never cry

Life Under the Spotlight
Her mind is a thicket, never once pruned, her heart is in turmoil, weeping blood she puts on thick makeup, artfully smiles her mirror image laments,"Are you relevant?"

Not even her image would relish it, one bit
in an attempt to fit a square into a circle she shed her skin rearranged her face into something you'd look at she chose her words carefully saying things you want to hear she colored her hair white but her soul remained as black as the night
