Soaking wet With tears of joy You embrace my face How we both have waited for this Threw all the nights alone For all the pain felt For all the letters that came and for the ones that didn't The tightening of our soul's The shortening of our life span Even after all this We held on Now the war is over and the journey can begin A family stuck in gridlock Can now be whole again

I don't know where I'm supposed to be but I know where I'm posed to be a solo diver floating free flowing with the open sea embracing waves embracing rain embracing whirling winds of change surrendering to Heaven's gaze soaking in the pearly rays

sea legs
washing away the grimes of time hot shower, no visible need, yet, find myself, feeling covered, by the grime of another wastrel day, the excuses, the rationales of the United States of Rationalization, in a civil war, my reflection accepts the ****** casualties, pieces of me, could not deny, my-they-my-responsibility's all cry out explain how and why, we came into existence, and deferring, told them, read my poetry
