How can I tell to my whole world 
That I was drowning in this pool,

Have you ever felt chest pain? 
While you&#39;re sleeping but conscious?
Have you ever cried and begged in vain? 
Yet silence answers, cold and cautious.

A bed of roses, pillows of skies,
Ever serene in blue-tinted hues, 
Just close your eyes and face the lies,
Darkness remains, not what you choose. 

But another “hayss” in this life, 
Begging the world to just be gentle, 
From the start, it cuts like a knife, 
Body and soul, yet still essential.
