Unlocking My Spirit
***
In dreams of whimsical tales, I'm lost—
A world where magic reigns, uncrossed.
Where Mary Poppins, so dear, resides,
With lessons that my spirit guides.
In Mary's eyes, a twinkle gleams,
A kindred soul within her dreams.
For like Mr Banks, I yearn to be—
Bound by rules, yet longing to be free.
Oh, Saving Mr Banks, a tale so true—
A journey embarked, a life anew.
As a boy, I yearned for rigid ways,
But dear Mary taught me in her maze.
Lessons masked by laughter and song,
A melody of joy where I belong.
She whisked me off on whimsical flights,
Unshackled my heart, set my soul alight.
From stern confines of a structured life,
Mary showed me how to break the strife—
To embrace the dreams I dared to keep,
Free from society’s judgment, deep.
With magic umbrella in her hand,
Mary taught me to truly understand
That chasing dreams needn’t be in vain—
My heart, my spirit, forever unchained.
For in the end, she stole my heart,
And taught me to trust, to embrace my art—
To heal the wounds that held me tight,
Unlocking dreams that slept in night.
Now, I am the boy once lost—
A wanderer tamed, no longer tossed.
I've learned to dance, to sing with glee—
A soul awakened, forever set free.
With song and dreams… thank you, my Mary, dear,
For teaching me courage, casting out fear.
In whimsical tales, my heart now preserves
The lessons that set me adrift from life’s curves.

A — sharp as a peak against the morning grey,
the first mark on a blank map.
Exploring new heights
where air thins and the world drops away below —
pine needles under boots,
stone cold and steady beneath our weight.
Trailblazing new paths
that weren’t there yesterday,
breaking through brush,
following only the pull of what might be.
With fearless delights —
laughter whispers off rock faces,
the burn in muscles that means we’re alive,
the quiet rush of standing somewhere no one has stood before.
A — the start of every story we set out to write.

Yeah…
Come here, baby.
The room doesn’t glow—it leans toward your grace,
as if the walls themselves remember your light.
My heartbeat shifts, trying to draw near your space,
’cause God shaped you slow… carved your spirit just right.
Only you—
yeah, you’re the occasion, girl.
Only you—
my night’s soft celebration.
Only you—
my morning’s lift in a rising swirl.
I’m grateful you stayed—my quiet foundation.
The world turns gentle when your eyes meet mine,
like velvet brushing soul, two spirits entwined.
I don’t need reason—your presence is the sign,
My path found its meaning the day you aligned.
Only you—
Yeah, you’re the occasion.
Only you—
My night’s warm celebration.
Only you—
My dawn’s unfolding elevation.
You make it deeper, girl—my revelation.
Your laugh is a whisper carved only for me,
and the way that you move lets the whole moment breathe.
Let the world fade away—no imitation can be
what we are, heart to heart, with nothing beneath.
Pulled by your rhythm, lifted by your grace,
every second with you feels like truth in motion.
No season can shift it, no time can erase—
you’re where I begin… the root of devotion.
Only you—
yeah… it’s only you.
You’re the occasion my soul always knew.

A boy in his chair, eyes fixed on the blue,
Dreams of soaring high, like the birds he once knew.
No wheels to hold him, no ground to restrain,
Just wings to carry him, through sun and through rain.
He'd dance on the wind, with effortless grace,
A feathered spirit, in time and in space.
The world stretched below, a vibrant array,
A symphony of freedom, to brighten his day.
In his mind's eye, he's already flown,
A bird in the sky, finally on his own.

Every time I expect something from life,
A flood of questions rises within:
Don't expect. Accept and adjust.
Be happy with what you have.
Many don’t even have what you do.
And many more voices echo the same.
But what if my expectations are simple?
Simple like -
A homely atmosphere,
A loving family,
A supportive friend,
A peaceful life,
A meaningful profession.
Are these huge to expect from life?

Giving fake smiles...
Hiding pain infront of family...
Confusion of what to share and what to hide...
Fear of perspective changes...
Fed up with sympathy around...
Being unloved...
One side efforts...
Losing loved ones ...
Getting stranger vibes from close ones...
Taking blame without fault...
Lack of clarity in life...
Handling panics on your own...
Bad?
Probably the worst!!
The silent struggles people go through — especially the pain that hides behind a smile and the burden of emotional isolation.
