My beautiful gem of unparalleled brilliance
In likeness to the most radiant star
an exquisite gem,
scintillated akin to the crystalline waters
beneath the silvery embrace of the moonlight, shimmering and glittering
as it rested delicately between my fingers.
My pursuit of it had been fervent
and enduring.
Alas,
The boat began to sway firmly to and fro,
while the wind conspired to press me earnestly
against the weathered railing,
enfolding my form in an insistent embrace.
The wind's strength burgeoned,
becoming resolute
and unyielding,
leaving my heart to plummet into despair
as I faltered in my balance,
I lamented with anguished cries
as I beheld my cherished one
plummet overboard,
into the relentless depths
inexorably descending
Under the ravaging waves
