# *A small box of candy hearts were  being gifted.. as if being the most intricate  of Tonka Toys. Small, trembling hands, reaching out to  a small one,          dirt-encrusted.. There's a half a box of ******* Jacks: prize... still intact,  in the other. Two scabs.. and the bite mark  of an alligator lizard,    on just the one  that receives. . She had walked all the way across the school's playground to find him there. Brought with her a nickel for helping Mama fold the laundry down to the 7-Eleven store, last Saturday morning; Not  any old box of candy, would do. Not just any old box of candy..                             would do.* #

Old Memories are nestled safe in the Womb of our Heritage Growing Roots in their Nurturing vessel Until their Birth wherein they are forgotten. They take their Vacation in our younger children, Brothers, Sisters Who we have Provided the Memories of our long ago Childhood Of the Toys, the Rivalries, the Responsibilities, the doting boys, and playground cliques Their Adorable, albeit Tiny distracted heads may forget the days of our lives, but the passion they heard in our voices will never leave them. Just as my mothers never left mine Tell your stories. Tell them quick, before your memories are born from you and are forgotten from this world They are irreplaceable, precious times that no one else can ever experience themselves and they must live on as precious stories. Kept forever within the family walls of love and care

Remember Me for Me By Emily Austin
Spring sneaks by the door to the ghetto. That's okay, they can't afford the seed. Trees take too much room from the rentals. No one saw the end of ghetto weeds. Ghetto weeds once grew up sudden. They took the food of those in bloom. Ghetto weeds we're awful sorry, But we haven't got the room. Yesterday a man sold his garden Bragging how he made such a deal. Bought himself a high-rise apartment. Who can tell the fruit by the peel? Ghetto weeds once grew up sudden. They took the food of those in bloom. Ghetto weeds we're awful sorry, But we haven't got the room. What about the children of the ghetto, Do they have the playgrounds they need? Have you seen the children how they're growing? Don't they shoot up just like a **** Ghetto weeds once grew up sudden. They took the food of those in bloom. Ghetto weeds we're awful sorry, But we haven't got the room.
