—“I’m not in the mood anymore.” I’m not in the mood for holding your hand. For a simple, calming gesture that shows that I’m at least still appreciated. That I’m still loved. —Is holding my hand too romantic for you? Does it make you feel overwhelmed that I stay by your side in silence and listen to you and him talk to each other the way you used to talk to me? —And not even in the manner that the winds rush over the ocean gently just to send a calming reassurance that there will be no storms, albeit still held as a memory in my heart; rather a rolling wave that might contain any sign of passion even in a calming drizzle if that might be the description suited for the way you look at a friend. —For the wave is nothing but a friendly wave and the rush is nothing but a rush of joy and with not that of the wind you might still appreciate the sea, but the winds do not reconcile gently. —For the sea cannot help but rage when the wind speaks as loudly as the thunder it brings and the hail in its clouds, and neither are at fault, yet there simply will not be an end until the day that one can calm the other. But the wind phases, and with it, the tides.

To conquer the kingdom, vainly he tried Her minutest army ready for siege Oh, the flying flu booming like a phage Begging on his knees, for kindness he cried.
