See the sky turn crimson red, The same hue With which your soil is covered. Tell me, how are you going to explain this to mother That the boy she cradled in her arms as a child, Has now gone cold. No more sneaking on his side To get a scoop of his favorite ice-cream at midnight And the plans she had for his 8th birthday party Will never see the light of reality. See the colors seep Out of her world, The same way blood drained out of the boy's body. Tell me what could you possible say to justify The killing of innocence To justify the replacement of laughter and joys With ****** and blood The heart that soared over with pride, Is now weighing down with guilt If only she had listened to his excuse, he made to stay out of school She would not be holding him for the last time, Fighting the tears that are too numb to come. See the sky clear up again, From the tears of the innocents, You'll hope, plead and pray then forget Till it gets ****** yet again. But the mothers' heart will remember, And one day they'll pay, The heaven they had foreseen Will be worse than any hell

A huge tragedy where children's died You could see the sparkle in those children's eyes The whole pakistan cried, Its a shame for those talibans so called "pride". I got nothing to hide, Even I live abroad my heart mourned and cried......

Peshawar attack
Bullets were made music to their ears Bad music is all I say The loud, unrythmic music That took 142 lives away Those child were holding a pen The other party were holding gun They said "pen is powerful than gun" There, the lives were gone Inhumane, Souless , Cruel ************ I would say Oh ! What have they gave And what they took away They might not even have had a dream That they will become something one day Numbness everywhere Background plays Floyd ' The child has grown The dream is gone...... I have become comfortably numb'

Comfortably numb
The smallest coffins are the heaviest! The smallest coffins are the heaviest! No one wears stained clothes No person likes stained walls We make sure that they are cleaned We make sure it is all stainless But on a colourless Tuesday Terrorists spilled red all over a school They ransacked the classrooms They set a teacher on fire They shot aimlessly at tiny hearts and hands They murdered their future They banged bullets through budding brains And all that was left were stains. Terrorists stained crisply ironed uniforms They spilled blood in corridors once filled with colourful paintings They blemished the thoughts of little souls They damaged the hearts of parents young and old. Terrorists persist in staining their hands They exult in staining their nation They stain the meaning of Islam They stain the words of Allah in the holy Quran The redness of young blood will haunt them These red pigments will soak them into hell These blotches won’t be disregarded These stains will sustain till eternity! -Zainab Attari
