Worrisome oaf Cradle of milk Hunted and bitten Snarl of ice Whispering dread Call again through the storm Deaden the chorus of hatred Retrieve us from our pouring lusts We know no other mother sir Please repeat your prayer My nose breaks as do my ears in the madness Deafening anger assaults back Taste is putrid waters of my own making I'm hurled in the advance Grasp my neck and cover my shame Pour your wisdom before our doors You, having escaped the rains

Tilting Bark Hollers Before The End
I was forced to become wise Not because of injustice But to defy ignorance Right is a decision Not a contest Sign Your Freedom In Poetic Release

Exertion, Exhaustion And Powers
Within argument is division To be calm as the remainder Is to assert one's rights The action which asserts Promotes peace for all Lifting our language In a higher calling of liberty And silencing lady Justice's cries The contest is in one's mind Not against the correction by The self

Confronting Belligerent Speech
Beside my brother named keeping Honest he sees me as As I see his faith Beneath this shelter He opens, knowing to the ending outside We, bodies cowardly Deliberate entries A contrived system agrees Be longings in prayer Another brother I meet, still struggling outside Outside his mind, torn paradigm Splits for his phonecall on high Distance of his fence Parables tall in the telling Back in temporary home Making as congregates Making in given faiths we lean Enough for us To be, deliberating The repeal of gnashing hunger Found, shelters sound The cafeteria calls

My Name Became Shelter
A conflict versed Pressing nicety Honored allowance Huddled tensity Decorate more so Brewed spells, winter is taken And no veil disposable Colds count in registering Are we incident stilled Questioned profusely Loaned invisible jacket I am known crime Candles stick and await us Meeting as we finally gather Stay together Beings taught slavery in each Step, each other a step No not as paths To walk us in the shuffle Slower, then pace one step, a way No march Don't give face Yes the faith isn't to fill Nor disgrace More so a morsel in time A fine morsel to a mind? A fine morsel to a mind

People Talks
The day we hoped to fix things The day we would make it right. The morning we would wake up And teach the world to love the night. Yesterday was not an enemy And tomorrow was our friend. We would build a world for everyone And that world would never end. Yesterday we woke up early And got a jump start on the day. We ran or jogged and exercised And tried out life a different way. We ate the food we thought healthy And avoided those we called junk. We chose to grab life with both hands And drag it out of the bottom bunk. Yesterday we started to insist That people say what they mean And talk with us about feelings Not stuff from movie magazines. We began to demand humanity And ecologically-minded choices. We took advantage of the strength That could be had in our voices. Yesterday we marched and yelled To let our brothers and sisters be Whatever they are and who they are Without scorn and without penalty. We joined our local groups and said They needed to act accordingly To the rights of every human being And to implement total equality. Yesterday we thought of tomorrow And today we have to do the same. Human rights and a peaceful planet Must not be just a hopeful name. Greed and lust will only prosper If we back down when we are faced. Freedom of choice and equal rights A basic needs we can’t replace.
