In a hard way,
I learned life,
that no one will hold my hand
out of the abyss.
In a hard way,
I learned growth means leaving people behind
even when the heart refuses to let go.
Pure love comes from family;
I embraced that truth
in a hard way.
When you are alone,
that is when you find yourself.
And in a hard way,
I learned life is not a race,
yet time is not something to waste.
