Do you know, my friend what I did today? I picked up a fallen acorn from an ancient oak tree growing in a nearby woods.... Then I hurriedly carved upon it our names... And utmost tenderly planted it into the smiling soil of my little garden! Do you know, dear, why did I do so? For if you ever forget me, my friend, I would call upon the roots of my planted tree to find you... If you ever have to suffer the heat of bad days... I would ask the leaves of my growing tree to flutter in the wind so that... The cool breeze of my consolation reaches your shoulder! And when a smile will cross your glorious face, I would know it just by a singing cicada upon the tree on a yellow summery day! And even if in case we cease to exist, my friend... The tree would remain to harbour birds to weave tales of you and I... Our tree would become a meeting point of long lost friends... Even after we are long gone by! People will forever remember our friendship as the one that nurtured a tree to remain forever alive!

Oak!
I, your oak tree ask, will you rest your painted wings on my branch? I know I can't make your fleeting candleflame of a life last more than your few bright days, but for now rest upon my ancient bark and hear the lullaby of my leaves. If rain should cause you to falter I'll bend my branches to shield you from the icy volley of raindrops. As stars fade out in ink of night, I'll let a leaf fall from my bough and I hope it brings some comfort, in your last glimpses of this cruelly beautiful world.

Fragility
Will we meet upon the green grass hill Will you come and sit with me still Underneath the old oak tree We can sit and gaze at the sea We can watch the white top waves As it beats toward the caves The sea foams frothy white at the wide open mouth And when the wind blows from the south You can almost hear the pirates song When they use to visit the cave, but those years are long gone That's where they use to hide their treasures But now only the waves laps in at it's leisure You once asked me,"why don't you explore the cave by the sea" "To find diamonds and the gold that there might be" I only shot you a smile Because I knew all the while I had all ready found my diamond And around you my arms I tightened But that was many years ago And the winds of time did blow It aged our bodies, and took you away So I made that climb up hill today To sit up under that old oak tree To reminisce of what use to be To hold tight the ghost of your memory For that's one thing time can't take from me

The Oak Tree
Oak sprouts from soil, leaves dangiling on the tree, Sit, and watch happen.

Changes
The old oak tree grew at the edge, of an orchard where little ones play, and there lived a mage, who hears trees on a windy day, Rushing wind rustles leaves, on that one day brilliant and bright, With amber gold autumn grandeur on display, singing tuneful songs delightfully light and gay, Apple trees trilling events as mysterious as night, Of love found and lost last May.
