~ A Nursery Rhyme ~ By night the lamplights bloom in blue, and Squinty Bat comes lurking through. A flicker, a whisper, a crooked spin, she twirls in the hush where dreams begin. She nibbles moths that orbit the glow, grim as the gossip graveyards know. Around the lamp she loops and slides, a velvet ribbon on moonlit tides. At morning sun - dreadful, bright! - Miss Clara Parrot claims the light. She squawks and scolds, so green, so loud, a herald of day to the mortal crowd. She tattles from trees with her feathered choir, spilling the secrets that night conspired. Their laughter clatters like shattered glass, naming each sin the shadows let pass. Neighbors groan and pull their sheets as Clara reigns over waking streets. While Squinty swings in her secret nook, dangling like crime in a dusty book. By day, it’s Clara, gossip and glare, by night, it’s Squinty, a ghost in the air. And before you ask: Which one is blessed? the sun and the moon will refuse that test.

Squinty Bat and Clara Parrot
Stand with me on ten toes a little piggy that markets a bit of love And I know we'd kick  it better at home, while I roast your friends every time we meet, always having beef with them all The don't know you truly for yourself, quite frankly you're better off with none Still you and I make a perfect we, we can feast like a little piggy on sweet nothing's, when we're home alone                     I guess we're still a bit like kids, in love.

I screamed in my heart -just one more mile- As I scratched at my chest -keep me a while- Motel 6 with an arco out front But we passed it like we were on the run So fast but the fuel that kept us going was running past A little line Like a race And I’m the hare in first place I took it for granted Forgot my own morals And you were the tortoise who would have endured the miles And just like the rats in their cage We chewed through the bars that kept us from exploration only to be caught up In exasperation I’m tired Too tired And we got sick Of the race — of keeping up with each other and in the end We couldn’t put us back together again

Out of Love #2
Four little pigs Sleeping in a lemon tree Just hanging around Waiting for destiny When I came home They were scattered all about Three were in the house The fourth somewhere out Gentle piggies, on the farm Their bodies, so warm Hanging by, feeling swell Is it me? I can't tell They were in the Sunday best Looking so neat But then again They were just slabs of meat I gave them all my love They told me it was hate Ungrateful little piggies Perhaps they were victims of fate Where'd they go, which way? Did the bad wolf blow them away? Mr Wolf, did they scream? Did they taste like a dream?

Four Little Pigs
Clickity-clack It leaves the station, then it begins its acceleration. Off to its new destination, all the cars in formation. Choo-choo The train goes rushing by. Can you hear the whistle blow? It zips along day or night, in the rain and in the snow. Chugging-chugging Over the hills and through the mountains, through the square and pass the fountain. With a screech, its journey is done, Hop aboard we will have such fun. ALesiach © 11/09/2014

The day is over, time to rest, I pray my family for you to bless. Please watch over me day to day and do not let me go astray. Thank you God for Mom and Dad and blessing our family with all we have. Help me to do better in school and remember to follow all the rules. Forgive me any wrongs I have done and help me be a good son. Thank you Jesus for entering my heart, I pray as I grow we never part. Now, as I close my eyes to sleep, please stay and watch over me.

Son's Prayer
All the animals have come to play, before you gently rest your head. They have been waiting all day, to see you before you to go to bed. The bunny excitedly jumps around, wiggling his nose, not making a sound. The teddy bear, a faithful friend, hopes the friendship will never end. The lion awakens from his slumber, his growl as loud as thunder. The panda eats his bamboo, thinking he is lucky to have found you. The frog with his body of green, jumps on the bed with dangling feet. Do not forget the elephant with floppy ears for drying up your tiny tears. ALesiach © 11/6/2014

Animals and Me
Lisa knows where the poppies hide the men in white pick them up at night Lisa knows but she won't tell Beth cause she'd find it hard to hold her breath Bethy's become even more suspicious She says that she still catches transmissions So, Elisabeth, despite her own poor state Watches carefully over her darling roommate Lisa knows where the poppies hide Oh, those charming rubies glow bright in the night And if their beauty some girls do not see they taste it each day as their morning tea

My Daughter's ( Kemet) Nursery Rhyme
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men, They can't put me together again. Every day I sit on that wall, But the poison’s kicked in and I’ve started to fall. Mary had a little lamb, Before it was taken and weighed at 50 kg. She searched and she searched for that little white coat, In her woollen shawl with its name on a note. Incy Wincy spider climbed and he fell, Stuck in his pipe of internal hell. Battling smoke and rattling lungs, But Incy Wincy won’t give it up. She’s a little teapot, short and stout, The others laugh and point and shout, Her self-esteem’s boiling, she’s holding it tight, Pour it all out while she cannot fight. Have you got me any wool? No sir, no sir you took it all. What do you mean it’s all my fault? Why do your kisses taste like salt? Ring-a-ring-a roses shattered in the rain, They are only flowers, they don’t feel the pain. All fall, all fall, we all fall down, Three days rotting before you’re found.

3 little piggies
I heard Peter Piper picked a pricey pepper, the same day I heard he got chased down by a hungry mob of less than lovely lepers, now Peter Piper and his picked pepper are prodded by hot pokers while a village of now happy, hairless, horrifyingly lipless lepers salivate in anticipation of poor Peter Piper's soon to be pickled body. The Masses chant and cheer to sounds of Peter's screams that seem to season his sizzling skin as children scrape scolding scraps peeling from his searing kneecaps. Veins build up pressure, veins then rupture, veins open and spray onto the crowd and moisturize all the rough textures, soaked faces gain weight and fall off exposing maggots that festered, excited crowds jump and cheer as their knees buckle and bodies fracture. The elder ***** picks a peck of pickled Peter Piper, now the elder ***** enjoys a pepper with a peck of old Peter Piper.

Humpy Dumpty
Nursery rhyme, nursery rhyme, Tell me what to fear this time. Spin around. Down to the ground. That's where all dead kids are found. Nursery rhyme, nursery rhyme, Tell of broken bows that break. Sing of ash and mourning face. Tell me lord my soul he'll take. Nursery rhyme, nursery rhyme Hide abuse between the lines. Give excuse for pain and dread. With happy sound this song is read

trick or treat
Counting crows at twilight the maiden could not see the knave who sat beside her in all his gallantry So he cut off her pigtails he took them to his home but dropped his hat along the way and she found him all alone He counted sheep at midnight lying in his bed and could not see her standing there as she cut off his head

*Burn burn burn your love For him and only him Shining shining shining shining Until the light goes dim. Smile smile smile my love Everything but a frown Because because because because I won’t let you drown. Cool cool cool your love For him and only him Splashing splashing splashing splashing Teach you how to swim. Smile smile smile my love It's not what it may seem Laughing laughing laughing laughing Life is but a dream.*

Hickory dickory dock The hands went round the clock Began to think, poured a drink Two fingers and three rocks Hickory dickory dock Of life, begun to take stock Quite bereft, there's not much left And no longer part of the flock Hickory dickory dock Went and purchased a Glock Tastes like metal, burns like a kettle Two fingers, trigger and stock

Asylum Rhyme
Rock a bye body In the treetops When the wind blows My body will drop Strung up high And stretch out my neck Don't leave me swayin Just show some respect My whole life is crashing It's all in a knot My heart finished beating Looks like I got caught My soul will fly high Way up in the sky Grin on my face Is the day that I die

nursery rhyme of the undead
Once upon a time was a girl named Candy Sweet as a flower and loved all so much. She was granted a wish by a fairy named Mandy that turned into candy all that she touched. The town was filled with the sweets of Candy the rocks and the houses and bicycles too. Candy would say that the world was just dandy! parading the streets in her candy suede shoes. But everything ends and also for Candy when all that she touched would turn into sweets. Realising a candy-lover's not handy she walked alone on candy-cobbled streets. And loneliness came like a night over Candy crying skittles she soon went insane. She cursed the wish she was granted by Mandy as she crumbled and cracked like a candy cane. For the rest of the year the children ate candy the rocks and the houses and bicycles too. The children would say that the world was just dandy and the last sweet they shared was a candy suede shoe.
