The Nursery Rhymes of Father Goose
Twinkle, twinkle, Little Star How I wonder what you are Up above in space so high Shining brightly in the sky We see you shining in the night Bringing to us endless fright Twinkle, twinkle, Blinking Star Will you tell us who you are? Up above the world so high You're a menace in the sky Twinkle, twinkle, Pulsing Star Are we sure that's what you are? A shining star of doom and woe, To challenge what we think we know So, you glimmer without pause Defying all of nature's laws Show us who you have inside Bring back to us those who died We are waiting for your move You have nothing left to prove You keep shining, Deadly Star Show us what you really are You have made us so afraid Someone please come to our aid Now the night sky is so dark You have left us with your mark Should we see another day Leave our world in peace, we pray We do not know why you're here Making people disappear Will you leave our world in peace? Let us try to rebuild, please Our people are dying out You're stronger than us, there's no doubt But when humans gather and believe There's nothing we can't achieve Know this, evil, Blinking Star We know exactly what you are Twinkle, twinkle, Little Star You've shown us how small we are With your light so large and bright, Will you help us through the night? We are tired and full of dread Prepare us for what's up ahead Through the dark and death you shine, Our whole world is on the line Bleeding wounds and fractured hearts, Save us from our broken parts Now, thanks to you, we have a chance And so we take our final stance Finally, a star retracts In the storm, the thunder cracks You've claimed a life in outer space And took him to a different place Twinkle, twinkle, Little Star Now you've gone away so far

Boys and Girls
Twinkle twinkle my little star How I wonder how you got that scar Up above the world so high I could hear your silent cry In this lullaby Let me tell you a story It's not a mystical fantasy nor just a legend spread by many It's nothing but a harsh and cruel reality I once got off on a damaged road And met this child who wore a tattered coat No slippers on his ***** foot On his back was probably some loot He got somewhere in the neighborhood The cemented path was scorching hot Oh how could I forgot? It's 40 degrees outside and I could see sweat dripping down from his face non stop How could I bear watch him that way? So I approached and say if he want some ice tea The child nodded with his tiny head I led him to sat on the grass at the nearby park Talked about things that made me upset Things that snapped by bottomline thread With a muffled voice he pretended To be fine as he recalled scenes that made me shuddered Who could have known a child who should be in kinder Is working his bones for what? A money so meager it couldn't cover his meals for dinner? It hit me Blindfolded eyes that couldn't see That Jack and Jill did not just went up the hill To fetch a pail of water Needeed some lumber Till the soil for the cucumbers Catch some fishes at the river Dig the goldmines deeper Lights flicker, it's time for supper Only noodles for the tummy Where is empathy? humanity? This was a result of poverty Lack of responsibility And a deaf society His name was Juan and Juan got a sister Who was so lovely it became her tragedy Caught the pervert's attention Made use of her innocence for exploitation Robbed her dignity She couldn't care less for your sympathy She needed for you to stop being a silent somebody Itsy bitsy spider Spunning webs on tiny rough fingers Cover the nose, chemicals in the air The sharp tools beware Take good care of your welfare Ah, why do they have to bid farewell? To stardust dreams? To fluffy teddybears? To have notebooks instead of burdens? To play hide and seek instead of running away from the grim reaper? Open your eyes, people! This is nothing simple This is not a fairy tale They are our children with stories to tell Stuck at the deepest layers of hell Being slaves to demons who don't give a care It's time to row row row our boat Gently but quickly down the stream To rescue Juan and his sister And a million more who we owed Childhood memories and sparkling dreams Row row row our boat Get that voice you swallowed Be their voice in a noisy seas Let the world hear their pleas To the children who had factory noises as everyday melodies To the children who had stale breads as cookies Who had rags as clothes and having shoes means luxuries Show them that you care That you are aware And their hopeful shouts didn't led to nowhere Twinkle Twinkle my little star We are not so far Up above the world so high I could still hear your silent cry But be ready to say goodbye To the life worst than ants Hold my hands Let me listen to your heartly laughs We rowed our boat for that To see you away from the labor's grasps Twinkle Twinkle My Little Star Let me see you shine as the star you are

Nursery Haikus
Foul, hideous, and horrid Unfit for natural light. An image, none as grisly As the man named Simon White. Once his heart was broken So he kept the pieces in a box. Tethered safely to his hip With tight chains and key-less locks. His mind was wont to wander To clouds too high and skies too far. So to keep himself grounded down to earth, He kept his brain inside a jar. His teeth would never smile. Traded some and sold the others Each to an unfamiliar home Now all without their brothers. Oh, his tongue was such a bore! So he minced it to a paste. He boiled, baked, and seasoned it Yet still it had no taste. He grew tired of his eyes Looking down and looking back So he took a brush with inked tip And painted them pitch black. The shrieks and wails of the passerby He could not stand to hear. So he melted a *** of candles And stuffed the wax in each ear. His face had done no wrong But with fear it one day might, He took a knife and chopped its nose! Less from prudence and more from spite...

Simon White
Born in nineteen seventeen, And died in sixty-seven. His heart gave out, he became a ghost! But did not go to heaven... So now he haunts these hallowed grounds From silver nights to dewy dawn. His spectral frame glides above the grass And drifts across the lawn. But when morning comes and moonlight fades, He knows it's time to leave. To allow the other graveyard patrons Their own time to grieve. So he floats off to his tombstone, Lies down in this coffin bed. Every morning he dreams he is alive- But each night he wakes up dead.
