With my back to the ground, I like to count the stars. 1, 2, 3, My bones press heavy into the ground beneath me. 44, 45, 46 My eyes close. The image of the sky burns behind them. 150, 151, 152, The cold night air seeps between the muscle and bone of my arms and legs, separating the flesh from my body. 1033, 1034, 1035, My eyes won't open. My hand stills and my breath hitches, I listen to the trees sway. Crickets chirp. As I hear the world move on past me for the last time, I think to myself. There are too many stars to count.

Outside the bar, into the cold. Numbness takes over control. Everything slows down, stands still, The aftermath of a sick thrill. I lay under the starry night, Motionless, dehumanized. On melting slush, I see my breath, Raising up over my head. A shooting star slides down the sky, A shining path into the light. Purposefully dying for Granting wishes to the world. What a graceful way to die, Followed by all hopeful eyes. Carrying people's hopes and dreams, The dying of the gleaming beams.

Make a Wish
Moon is silent, The air’s humming Around my ear. Speaking straight To the head, The sky is crystal clear. Mist in the grass. Silence as every drop falls, Moon's calm gaze, A true beauty - my heart calls. Seeking more With my breath on hold. More warmth and calmness, A bond unknown but too bold. Not fast, This moment must pass slow. For me to cherish this scene, Making each moment glow. A black floss rolled out, Fading the milky light. I walked away, Admiring the last sight.

Alone Under The Moon
How does it feel when the moon is all alone in the night sky? Even though it has its stars, Thinking that it has no one, It goes through its phases all alone. Doesn't it feel lonely? But I'm the star who's about to fall, and I still fill the space of the Moon's loneliness. But when I fall, even my moon forgets my existence. I'll have no one but me. I was the one who was the Moon's companion, wasn't I? I guess I was. I'm nothing but a falling star, and I'm nothing compared to the moon, who's admired every day by many. They also make a wish when I fall, but I wish I had a chance to fulfill my own wish: to be with my moon.

World beyond Eyes
In the night's dark , starry sea I find my worries, drifting free In this stillness,i found my nest A place to rest, and be my best That starts up high, with a twinkling show Reflect the beauty, that life can grow The moon's pale glow, a guiding light Leads me through, life's darkest night Like a leaf in a cosmic sea I drift on winds, wild and free In this celestial loving grasp I found my soul,in a peaceful clasp.

Celestial Embrace
In the tapestry of life, a thread shines bright Your presence, a light that takes flight With every smile, a warmth unfolds A beauty that never grows old In your eyes, a spark does glow A radiance that touches all that know May your journey be filled with joy, and delight May your path be lit with love and light You shine so bright, like a radiant star in the night sky Aurora's Light, a beacon bright Shining forth, like a celestial sight With every step, a radiant glow illuminates Illuminating all, as she grows In a world of billions, you're one in a million A treasure so rare, my heart's sweet obsession I'm always here for you through ups and downs The highs and lows.

Sparkling Aurora
I told him, "I love the stars, because they are so far away, and it takes their light millions of years to reach our eyes." Its impossible to know if the star we are seeing this very moment, is even still a star.   I told him, "We are looking into the past in real time when we stargaze." I told him I loved the uncertainty. Because it made me feel things I once hid from.   I didn't tell him, That if I can still marvel at a long dead stars light. Then maybe after I'm long gone, after the very last photon of my being has gone dark, maybe theres a chance, no matter how small, oneday my light might still be seen. I told him, "I love the stars and because of them, Death doesn't seem so scary"

Stargazing
Driving down the freeway underneath the dark night sky. Thinking about it all. Tears falling from my eye. Starring out the window at the reflection in the mirror. Remembering the times when it all seemed so much clearer.

Nighttime Nostalgia
I stare at the night sky A velvet sheet with holes A sprinkle of snow Little glittering specks in the sky Thousands of blinking lights looking down at me Twinkling the night away ~22/3/21

Stars
Connecting starlight over rooftops, Pleading to save my soul. I look to the night sky to make me feel whole. Perhaps it's the beauty Or is it its presence? When all else fails to be, It is.

Connecting starlight over rooftops
1.  the night is all the day wishes it could be; it's better for thinking, and loving, and dreaming. 2. each night i go out to look at the sky and admire the stars. 3. to see the stars, a certain amount of darkness is required. 4. all the darkness in the world can't ***** out the light from a single candle. 5. i overthink impossible amounts of scenarios, as many as the infinite stars spanning the sky. 6. you are the last thing on my mind as i fall asleep. 7. you are all i ever dream about. 8. you are the first thing on my mind when i wake. 9. you don't love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or their talent. 10. you love them because they sing a song that only you can hear, a song that resonates and harmonizes with your soul. 11. music is a language, just like english or spanish, that's why it's difficult for some people to learn and understand. 12. the sky transitioning from cool blue to warm orange-pinks to freckled black gives off a 5-1 cadence feel. 13. the moon shines brightest when there is no one there to see. 14. the sun may watch me during the day, but it's the moon who knows all my secrets and desires. 15. like the stars, gentle and beautiful, you are exactly like them: i couldn’t be with you, only admire you.

My favorite moment in a day Is right before I fall asleep When I look up I could finally see the nightsky Not that I have no ceiling But I choose to see the stars behind

Nightsky
Distant in the sky at night, a profound and shiny light, the moon slowly moves, like a sloath on the roves. A sensation in summertimes, a cloud that sometimes dresses the sky of white when the moon guides my typewrite.

Moon
I saw her fall, Fall from the moon, With wings, Who glowed like a thousand yellow suns, She didn't fall to the ground, No, A drop, And a mear second later, She was soaring through the skies ...

An angel on earth
Your dream-self came to me with its familiar night music, on delicate note at a time. I listend to imagination’s tongue, chanting the mantra of being. Entranced by moon color, I measured the distance of meteors between your planet and mine. Dawn came reluctant into the fog of high trees, into the speckled dark of mountain peaks. Suddenly, you were there, an unforgettable fragrance of light, like blossoms blowing through clouds, a butterfly dream that would last forever.
