I rescind my apprehensions and anxieties about college a new place with new people and new experiences that always lets the nerves to creep in and take control but this time is different I feel confident and accomplished I take this time in my life in strides and I succeed it's only been 2 full days of classes but I got this so I rescind my apprehensions and anxieties about college I am thriving now I just need some friends (other than my roommate)

books books books such a wonderful way to escape the crisp scent of a fresh book pages upon pages drifting into other worlds so much better than reality dragons and unicorns and demons are a better alternative than the boring normal world libraries are a comfort so quiet and filled with books

hmmm, 'makes a dune of sandy wasted time'... feeling that line settle in.   Eliciting a tingle, up my spine, through my circuits, in my organism.   Words well worth pondering.   But wait there is more... thanks for the new word fellow poet here, 'thew', who knew? that one so good, existed, out there, for me, and for you? *thanks Richard Barnes!

Thew (a poem inspired by another poet here)
So many faces in the wind At the train station The Glasgow train at 1705 seems late So many minutes wasted Should i smoke a cigarette or will the nicotine be wasted Spending too much time on contemplation I hope I don't have to purchase a ticket so I can keep the little I have The train is expensive but I missed the bus Wouldn't mind a new car but that's too much fuss
