If I succumb to the current of the raging river would it take me home? If I let it wash away my tears would it cease my restless wandering-- when endlessly I roam? Could I ever hope to drown in stormy depths? When I claw and I poke at things I wont accept? So I plunge in awaiting the beasts that shall pull me under Split me apart pick me clean and tear me asunder. -Esther L. Krenzin- -Roguesong-

Pick Me Clean
dragon fly with silver wings see my soul and show me things. in my heart and to his ear sentient wisdom of love's nature. song and wine have been for naught; I have given all I've got. a kindly deed and soft caress the moonlight and the sun confess. the wind can take you dragon fly far past the reaches of my eye to tell me if he thinks of me in moments of serenity. if I see your wings again I shall know I have a friend. though space and time we can not share I will understand it, fair.

the fortune of a dragon fly
on silver she flies this delicate mother-of-pearls moon adrift during the daylight she's luminous like snow atop auburn branches or like pale petals from the sky an ethereal daydream fluttering on a warm breeze

Mother-of-Pearls
Through night’s body, day breaks – a wheelbarrow of dreams transformed to a pile of thoughts. I want dawn’s gray curtains hung upon high floods of air, the pizzicato voice of tiny brown birds replaced by the shameless, noisy gull. I want to wallow in the clumsy freedom of steamy clouds caressing waves, as you touched me, so elegantly, like the wings of the moth. I want to paint away sorrow with the green furze of spring. I want the fresh wind but also its still, breathless moments. I want to take part in the year’s re-birth and create you all over again.
