Inside the glass sits a quiet guardian— a soft grey rabbit with long ears and a Saint Christopher resting gently against his chest. At his feet are little trainers, the kind that once learned how to balance on unsteady legs, how to bounce, how to chase music through the room. And in the photograph, small arms hold the rabbit close, like comfort has a shape and he already knows it. Behind it all are the four chapters of my heart. My oldest— standing tall in his prom suit, the boy who once held my hand now stepping out into the world like the man he is becoming. My second— in his school uniform on his very first day of high school, that moment where childhood quietly meets the future. My third— in his bright orange T-shirt, the one who is always moving, always exploring, like the world is too exciting to ever sit still. And my youngest, my little warrior, the one who still holds his rabbit close, still small enough to remind me what pure joy looks like. Four boys. Four journeys. Four lives that grew from the same heartbeat. They may grow in different places and walk their own roads for now, but every morning when the light touches that rabbit, when Saint Christopher catches the sun, when those tiny shoes rest quietly— I remember something that never changes: I am the mother of four incredible boys. And that love doesn’t fade with distance. It only grows stronger. 💛
